God jakke, men meget lidt ventilation
Jeg købte denne her jakke for 14 dage siden og har testet den flere gange da jeg cykler på arbejde hver dag. Jakken er regn / vind tæt, men åndbarheden er minimal. Den er meget varm indvendigt.

Dry to the Core
The Core Rain Jacket II is cut very well and fits like a glove yet never feels too tight. It’s quite handsome! It is durable yet so light it easily compacts into a rear jersey pocket. My only misgiving about this jacket is the exceedingly small, light, plastic zipper. It keeps out the rain, but it just feels like someday it will fail. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when it happens.

Good enough for the Main streem cyclist.
Good and classy design, but could have been more stretchy an slimfit around the gips. Very light weight. Good neck seiling. A bit wind catching and not enough air escaping area since it is not a breathable fabric. It is a bit larger than other products, but that is ok since it is the outside layer.
Would I bought the jacket again? For that price, yes I would. It covers my needs.

Decent jacket
I wore this jacket for a two hour ride in pouring rain on Dartmoor. I was dry! Really did the job. Size wise I bought a Large, good fit with room for thin jersey underneath.. Usually take medium in normal clothing and large in cycling stuff, 32in waist, 39 in chest. As I warmed up, in the rain, I could feel myself starting to seat but minor issue. Money well spent.

Nice rain cape
Good rain cape. Its very light! Fits nice, slack enough to fit over multiple layers you would be wearing in winter. Packs down well, although there is no storage pouch. Good water proofing performance. The cuffs are soft and stop wind and rain going up your sleeves. I've not used it in summer yet, so can't comment on whether it turns you into a boil in a bag.

Great fit &waterproof but doesn't breathe AT ALL
As always, the Rapha fit is great, the little details are amazing (i love the cuffs), however, while I won't get wet from the rain, I'll come home drenched in sweat because this rain jacket doesn't breathe AT ALL. Maybe if there was a streak of breathable fabric running under the arms/armpits/sides? Unfortunately, rain came after my 30 day return window.

Great jacket
Great jacket, I wear this as a windstopper and it definitley keeps me warm on my commute to and from work. It is excellent in the rain as well and keeps me completely dry, even in the heaviest downpours. I'm 5' 9" with a 42" chest and the large fits perfect.
This is my first Rapha product and I'm really impressed, just wish I'd bought it years ago.

Winter Warrior Wear
Bought this to pair with a core jersey and it really does work well. I like the longer back length and cut of this jacket. The drawcord is a great feature that helps improve water tightness.
The jacket realty does repel water and it clearly beads in the fabric surface. Overall a really good looking jacket with reflective features - very pleased!

Very nice just get your size right
Only had a couple of rides in this so far but it seems spot on.
Sizing i
Was a slight issue and it comes down to personal taste I guess. I’m 6ft1” 41/42” chest and 14st in old money. I’m normally a standard UK large but as you’ll know, that can mean anything in cycling gear (our Italian friends feat especially) I ordered an XL and Large to try and opted for the racier fit Large. I then ordered a size Large Brevet insulated Gilet and........absolutely no chance of wearing that. I couldn’t even wear it and tell myself that it was also race fit. It was wast beyond race fit to the point that fully zipped up it was in danger of making my lips turn blue!
Lovely product as always but just beware that Large in a Jacket may not indicate Large in everything else!
(I caveat this with saying that yes, it all comes down to your taste on “fit” as some would say I should have the more generous XL in the jacket too)
Still love Rapha stuff though

Why change the measurements?
My second core jacket in size L, but felt odd when I put on compared to my original.
Got the tape measure out; chest the same (22") but the arm was 1/2" longer, the zip 1" longer and the rear collar to flap 2" longer?
So the new one has a 'bunched' bit round the midriff when riding, which isn't great.
Please stop changing the measurements!

Lightweight, simple jacket.
This is a very nice, parable, lightweight, simple rain jacket. I've only used it twice and it seems waterproof, but I have ended up fairly damp under it, so I'm note sure.... Perhaps i's not that breathable. Having said that the weather is still pretty mild and it may get a fairer test in the next month or so as the weather cools.

great light weight jacket that is smart too
great light weight jacket that is smart too. It's so thin I'm a bit paranoid about ripping it , but my worries are note required, so far performing well and hasn't snagged. Light weight visible and waterproof were my criteria and all are met. A pocket would be a useful addition in hindsight but that's my only and v minor negative

Killer piece of gear
Great quality and my go-to in cold/wet rides. Very packable and fits in shirt back-pocket and very adept at keeping even the heaviest downpours off my core. Use it as wind jacket during cold/fast rides abs doesn’t overheat so adequate breathability with pit vents. Offset zip is genius, it comes with me on colder winter rides.

Solid packable waterproof jacket
The jacket holds up very well in the rain. The cut is a little strange. I found the sleeves very narrow and the torso very wide. There are adjustable straps but it feels like I’m wearing a race jacket on the shoulder and arms and an endurance cut on the torso. It’s very lightweight and can easily be stowed in a jersey pocket.

Not all its cracked up to be
I bought this when it was put on offer, as i previously owned one but its several years old now and not quite as good as new. What i was surprised about was that this latest addition doesn't seem to be an improvement..but if i am honest a backward step. The wrist grippers are slimmer than previously and not that effective at creating a warm seal. and is it just me or has the cut become a little shorter? i am 6ft 3, with long back and arms...the previous rain jacket was ample in length down the back and along the arms...this one isnt the same...a little shorter and and arms a little short too exposing wrists. I was also surprised how hot i got in it...in the end having to unzip half the front to get the air circulating as i was sweating with only a brivet short sleeved top on underneath and outside being 5 degrees. But was it waterproof ..yes, and in orange its clearly visible... and best of all it relly does roll up very small and fits easily in a pocket.

Disappointed
Disappointed with this jacket, waterproof on the outside boil in the bag on the inside, not enough ventilation just two little holes under the arms. Pleased I bought it in the sales and only paid half price because if I’d paid full price I would have sent it back. Looks good though. Expected better from Rapha to be honest.

Indispensable Rain Jacket II

Just what I needed
After searching for a rain jacket that ticked all the boxes for me but wasn’t to expensive, after all you tend to carry it more than you wear it I finally purchased the Core. It’s very comfortable, waterproof and wind proof along with being compact fitting in your pocket easily. And the big plus it looks great.

Good fit, light and waterproof
Jacket has a good fit (I'm 192cm an 78kg and bought large). The elastic cuffs are nice. Used it once in the rain and kept dry. Used it today as a wind breaker..it was about 5degrees celcius, sunny and windy..it kept me warm without sweating. Only point of improvement would be a pocket in which it can be folded.

Fits great
I am 6'2, 168 lbs, and am a large in everything from Rapha that I own. This is no exception. The fit of this jacket is really nice. It's cut a little more loosely than the my other kit, but not so much that it feels baggy. It compacts nicely to fit in a jersey pocket. Can't speak to how weatherproof it is yet.

Excellent fit
I’m really pleased with my new rain jacket. Some reviews complain about a lack of pockets but I wouldn’t want to transfer stuff from my jersey or make it bulkier to stuff. Nice slightly subdued greeny yellow hi-vis version and fine detailing. It kept me warm too when the temp dropped to 7 degrees the other day

Lacks heels and whistles, but gets the job done
Simple windbreaker. Lacks heels and whistles, no pockets, but that’s ok. The color I bought was in sale and I can’t complain. Fit is very good, at 6’5” it’s often difficult for me to find jackets with arms that are long enough but this jacket in an XL fit great!! Keeps the chill and wind out. Would buy again.

Great cut, not breathable.
Just like the reviews from the original version of the Core Rain Jacket, this version is not breathable. So it's only for the truly rainy rides.
But the cut/fit is outstanding. It keeps me dry as is possible to be in otherwise drenching rain. It's also lightweight, looks great, and is very comfortable.

Jacket for all seasons and micro climates
Perfect jacket for days when you’re unsure of conditions. Lots of wet days in the hills here and cold winds along the coast. This jacket has never let me down. Whether wind or rain. Great cuff closures on sleeves, and adjustable waist to close jacket fully. Great fit and sized perfectly. Two thumbs up.

Men's Core Rain Jacket II
Excellent jacket! Simply feels (and looks) like a very high quality product. Packs down very small and you almost can’t feel the weight of it when put in back pocket. The only downside is only average breathability. But considering the price and how wind and waterproof it is, that is negligible.

Cracking Jacket
Slightly concerned about the price and normally sticking to the cheaper cycling clothing I splashed out for this as such and has been a cracking jacket. Offers a degree of warmth due to being a windbreaker and the waterproof side of it is perfect also.

Grest product.
As for sizing, I decided to go with M (192cm, 83kg) as I prefer tight fitting to minimize fluttering during rides. I compromised on slightly too short sleeves though. I tested the jacket on windy rides at 7*C and it kept me warm and protected from cold. I haven’t tried it in rainy conditions.
