Light and waterproof but sweat puddles.
Jacket is great for cold to warm days with Rain. But sweat will puddle in the forearm area of the jacket and it get kept in by the tight wrist wraps. It does repel water nicely and the jacket is very light.

Cozy
Excellent rain jacket. The orange is nice and bright. I'm 6'4" and went with the size L based on my other Classic line jerseys and this fit similar. Long arms, slim thru the torso. Love it so far!

Nice colour and weight.
Exactly what I was looking for. A bright coloured light weight rain jacket (why are so many black? Doesn't make sense when you want to be visible to cars). It folds easily in my back pocket.

Don't leave home without it
Fantastic jacket! I take this with me on every ride. There are times when I need it in the rain, but at other times I use it as a windbreaker while cycling through the Niagara escarpment.

Perfect Fit
Needed a lightweight jacket with a great fit and this was it. 6' and 78kg, the large was perfect, especially in the cycling position. Not used in the wet yet, but keeps the wind out.

Doesn't do it's job
A raincoat that doesn't keep your dry. Simply useless.

Great product. Great price.
The Core range I believe is quality. I have several Core products and they all stack up well against the more expensive offerings from Rapha. The rain jacket is no exception it is a quality product. The sizing is spot on comfort is wonderful and most importantly it keeps you dry. I fortunately don’t have to call on a rain jacket often (living in Australia) however when it does rain it rains and each time I have had to call on the jacket it has kept me dry and warm. Well done Rapha.

Great lightweight jacket for fall/spring riding
Overall this is a great jacket both in quality and functionality. Good choice for riding in fall and spring. Lightweight and snug, so make sure you order the correct size. The sleeves are long enough so they don’t ride up your arm; and the inner cuff covers your wrist for wind protection.
Very good wind blocker. Pretty good breathability – on up-hill climbs, I found it to be nice and dry.
Rain protection – haven’t ridden in a heavy downpour yet, but in steady rain it kept me dry.

Very inpresssed
This jacket is perfect when there’s a slight chill in the air, it will keep you dry and warm. The fit is perfect. I’m 6ft 168lbs and opted for a medium.

Great for wind and rain relief
I’ve been out on a few rides. Excellent rain and wind protection but it does not breathe. It does roll up very Comp t to place in your back pocket.

Nice jacket, poor breathability
Jacket fit and materials are great, but it just does not breathe well enough, limiting usefulness to cooler weather rainy weather conditions.

Ripped after 1 wash
Jacket was good while it lasted. Washed it once and the seems just came apart. May have just been a fault. Color etc was great.

Impeccable styling but lacks breathability
Stylish but maybe a just falls short. The jacket is a great and looks impeccable as you'd expect but breathability is poor.

Good jacket but
Good rain jacket, sizing good, fit good. Rolls up nice and small. However it has one negative it is not breathable at all.

Good but not if you’re sweating
Nice jacket, well cut for me but let down by disappointing poor breathability. As a Rapha enthusiast, I expected better.

Thin, basic, very fitted.
Thin basic jacket with no pockets. It fits quite snug so really best for summer and less suitable as a basic shell.

No pockets
It's a nice jacket but it would be a nicer jacket if it had back pockets, or for that matter, any pocket.

Good jacket for the money
As highlighted by others, this isn’t the most breathable jacket and can be a bit clammy against bare arms when pushing on, but equally it’s brilliant at keeping the rain out which is it’s main purpose. It’s plenty good enough for most riders getting caught in the rain, but if you’re the type who leaves the house to work hard in heavy rain then you’re probably also the type to spend 3 times as much on something more breathable. For the money, this is a good jacket.

Long arms? This is the jacket for you!
Apparently, I have particular long arms and many cycling jackets I have tried were too short in the sleeves, especially when reaching out to the bars. The Core Rain Jacket offers me plenty of sleeve length to cover my poor, exposed wrists. I typically wear size large - across multiple brands - however, I settled on size XL for this jacket. Sizing up allowed me to have a bit of extra room for layering underneath without it being too billowy and flap in the wind.

At last a bright colour to be seen
I have had a Rapha rain jacket for many years. But it was black and understandably when it rained I was not very visual to car drivers. So pleased to see that Rapha have introduced a bright vibrant colour. Gives me so much more confidence when wearing the orange jacket instead of the usual black.
The coat itself is very lightweight and easily fits into the back pocket of my cycling shirt. Despite its lightness it is very wind proof too. Highly recommend.

Excellent must have practical waterproof.
Outstanding piece of kit, packs up tiny & fits in jersey pocket, totally waterproof, some reviews twine about poor breathability and small zip, of course it’s not fully breathable, it’s budget non Gore Tex lightweight & packable, zipper is totally waterproof, it fits large so I had to size down from jersey size, I’ll be using instead of a gilet for spring/autumn, can’t praise it highly enough, only way I’d love it more is if it came with a stuff sack.

Needs to breathe better...
Jacket fits pretty well and certainly does the job of keeping the rain out. The arms are a bit tight on me (and I have skinny arms) which caused perspiration to bold up due to lack of airflow. In all, I had trouble getting the jacket off at the end of a 50m ride because of that.
I suspect I will use it more often as a wind breaker than a rain jacket and that is more or less what I suspected I would use it for. The hi-vis markings on it are great!
