It's a classic!
Looks and feels of the material is high quality. Laces system is good as well, can be secured under the lace, and once tied, never noticed the loss of snugness.
Sizing is true to size, I normally wear size US10 in running shoes (more on a narrow side), and they fit perfectly and comfortably.
Having purchased the white colorway, they look sleek and easy to clean.
Would recommend to those who are looking for great looking and comfortable shoes.

Class personified
Bought these in the sale, usually struggle with shoes as I’m a wide fit, these are excellent. The foot strap doesn’t really do much but looks so classy.
Didn’t realise these also come with spare contrasting colour laces, spare inserts for high arch fit and a Rapha cotton bag to keep them pristine.
They mark up quite easily, however a damp cloth has been enough to keep them clean. Not sure about using these through winter… they’re so pretty…

Very comfortable but tight fit
I have only had the shoes about 4 weeks but managed to ride around 500 miles in them so far. When i first tried them on in the house without cleats , it was a struggle to get into them and they felt very uncomfortable to the extent I contemplated sending them back. However, after the first 75 mile ride my feet felt great but slightly hot even though it was only around 15c. Given that most of my riding is done in Scotland , warm shoes are a welcome bonus. There isn’t any ventilation on the sole, which for me is a positive, but there are a number of small perforations on the leather upper which provide some ventilation and also let in water when its wet which is not so good. I am hoping they will become a great all year round shoe that will see me through the winter when its just above freezing.
They certainly feel much stiffer than my old pair of shoes and this will really noticeable when I was out of the saddle pushing the pedals hard to get up a 19% hill. I know there are lighter shoes around, but I bought these for comfort and performance and so far have not been disappointed.

Gorgeous shoes
These are beautiful shoes. Not dissimilar in fit to s-works 7 shoes. Sizing as described. Marginally high in the heel. The usual nice touches from Rapha - cloth bag, spare laces (you get black and white) with the white shoe. Inserts to adjust instep which Velcro onto the insole. All things considered a quality shoe. High quality materials & finish.
Not ridden them much, just a couple of short rides. In my experience you need 4-5 hours plus to find out if a shoe is problematic. However thus far I’m delighted.

Amazing shoes!
These shoes are fantastic! I have ridden them three times (the pink version) this week for a total of 250km. I ordered them in 43, as per my usual sizing from other makes and the fit is spot on. Marketing claims, often fall short of reality, but in this case when Rapha says that the heel cup hugs your foot, it really does, in a snug, but comfortable manner. The toe box is generously sized making it very comfortable.
Walking in them is also a pleasure as the build-up protective outsole feels very sturdy, and the angle is almost level, reducing the feeling of walking like a duck. (I have Shimano SPD-SL cleats)
The lacing system is comfortable and holds whatever level of tightness you laced them for the entire 3 hours ride. I also like that the elastic loop designed to tuck the laces has a little tab, making it easy to lift.
They are easy to keep clean, as tire and grease marks come off easily, if done right after the ride. Finally, I’ve ridden in them from 18º to 30ºC and seemed to managed. that temperature range very well.
I will buy another pair in white, as I like them so much.

Classic shoes
The product is very good. Very good quality. But the product change service is very slow. I had to contact them on 3 occasions. In total, one month for a change of size in the boots

Well designed and built shoe
I am very picky when it come to my footwear, especially sporting footwear. I'm a new road cyclist just starting this summer and I didn't realize the significance of the shoes until I ventured out on some longer rides (for me) and suffered cramps and other discomfort in my feet. Since I was pleased with the quality of the other Rapha items I had recently purchased as well as their liberal return policy I gave these a try. I had to order them 1/2 size large (11 1/2) because they were out of stock but as it turns out that was perfect for my US size 11 E feet. I could not be happier with the fit. A bit stiff as expected when brand new they now (after 1000 miles break in) feel like a second skin. They hug my foot perfectly. The width is adjustable with the velcro strap and the heel cup comfortably secures my foot. The lacing system is great as it envelopes you foot without putting unnecessary pressure across the bridge of you foot. The shoes came with 2 arch support inserts. I found one of them to fit perfectly. I am also impressed with the materials and craftmanship in the build of these shoes. Highly recommended!

Well design & function Classic shoes
Just got back from last Sunday BRM 200km Audax. Firstly, I love the classic design, classy. Secondly, the comfort of the shoes. Like many riders comments, yes, the toe box area is roomy. I think it'll fit wide feet riders. The heel cup works great & feels sucure. Feels comfy. Other than that, the sole function really well when walk down to some wet pavements, cafes, etc. The Audax gone riding early in the morning at 5am, with 2nd checkpoint from warmth turns to hot near beach throughout the last checkpoint with heavy rain. The Classic shoes performed very well. Some said that they had problems with the breathability of the shoes but actually no. Otherwise the shoes feels great & performed really well. Remember, it's not a race shoes, it's a Classic shoes. But tested by the pros.

Super comfortable, they shoes just feel great when you have them on. It only took 1 ride to get the fit dialled in and I wear these as much as my S-Works 7's.

Great fitting shoe for normal width feet
Best fitting shoe I've owned. I have broad feet, not overly wide but snough that many brands are too narrow. Shimano wide fitting shoes were my choice although they were too wide in general. Finally bought the Rapha Classic Shoes after much research and was glad I did.
Such a soft upper that has a degree of give, these fit as well as my Salomon boots which i think in thirty years of wearing boots are the most comfortable I've ever worn....
The soles are stiff enough for anyone who isnt in the pro peloton. The laces allow small adjustments to be made and tuck away neatly in the elastic loops.
The velcro strap over the toe box is probably unnecessary as its never been adjusted from out of the box. Nice reflective finish though and likewise on the Rapha logo on the heel.
Tongue sits and stays central all through the ride.
A really nice comfortable road shoe that I can't imagine I'll want to replace until I've worn them out.
I always had a numb right little toe (bit of a corn on the knuckle joint) when riding...but so far after a few months in these shoes, no numbness!!!
Thank you Rapha
The only downside is the elastic loop for the laces...both shoes have had the stitching around the loop come apart so they are no longer tight loops. Only reason the shoes dont get 5 stars.

Nice but....
Haven't actually worn them on the bike. Bought them to check them out and I think that they'll be going back unused. They fit great, feel good on my feet and I absolutely love the black rainbow effect. BUT, laces? Really? Laces in 2019? It wasn't clear from the product photos exactly how the laces were going to work; I thought that maybe they had devised some clever way of hiding or stowing them after they're tied. But, no, just plain old laces. There is a little loop on the tongue that will take the loose ends of the laces but nothing for the giant loops. I've thought of replacing them with shorter laces but I would still be left with the issue of adjustability (or lack thereof) while riding. C'mon Rapha, these shoes deserve a better binding system.

Classic shoes for classic beauty and comfort!
We all love Rapha because everything looks beautifully chic and understated. But what's even more incredible is that the clothing and the shoes feel beautiful when you're wearing them. These shoes are a considered purchase because of the price point but I have not regrets. I was worried about the lace up but it's easy and the tuck works. You get the stiffness but the suppleness of the uppers. I am loving the colours because I prefer the understated look. Invest in these shoes because you're investing in quality and design perfection!

Sliiiick shoes
Picked up the silver ones — style game is on point. Wondered how comfortable they would be and if the laces would get in the way since my other pair of boots use Boa fastening. Happy to report that they're comfortable and the laces aren't an issue. I will note that putting them on feels a little difficult but once they're on, they feel like they've been worn in.

Can’t test on a bike! Very narrow
when I tried them on the bike, I felt pain in my toe. Couldn’t take them back. Suggestion to others: don’t attach cleats. Spin in the shoes for at least an hour before attaching cleats because once you do, you can’t return them.

They look good
Good looks and lace up easily. Not snug though even when laced up properly. But then I knew they were more comfort based beforehand. Uppers squeak, pain in the xxx. Tried all sorts to shut the left shoe up. Comfort not even close to s-works 6's & 7's. But, they look cool on my retro build.

Great for narrow heels
With a slightly wide foot (E) and narrow heel, this shoe has fit perfectly. It will stretch a little and needs some breaking in. Not great for winter without overshoes as it allows a lot of air in and isn’t quite roomy enough for thick socks. Overall pleasantly surprised how comfortable they are.

Style you expect. Great fit.
Great update. Bigger toe box than previous version of the 3-velcro Rapha road shoes. Great style you'd expect. Love the attention to detail - like the reflective label on the back and shoelace loop. The heel will be so much less aggravating than the previous Giro heel pad, which always broke.

Perfect !
For me, these are the best cycling shoes I've ever owned. Not only do they look good, they fit perfectly. The lacing system on these shoes allows you get a nice tight fit without pinch-points. The uppers do feel a bit stiff initially, but after a few rides they loosen up. Probably not a shoe to wear when the weather is bad - if you choose white - but they do wipe clean if you get mud spatters on them. I have previously worn Giro shoes in size 43 so went for the Rapha shoes in the same size and they were fine.

Blown away. In a good way.
(To put this in some perspective I currently also own Giro Empire SlX and S-Works Sub 6’s,
Which cost me at least a £100 more per pair.)
The Rapha Classics are better in every way- Feel stiffer, the lacing is sublime, they fit perfectly, ooze quality, materials used look classy and expensive.... and the Limited Ediiton Pink is the sexiest thing I have ever seen (apart from my partner, who incidentally doesn’t really notice my new kit days, but did say ‘Nice Shoes’ when I wore them so I may have been rumbled. But it was worth it. I now have two pairs and will order a third. Secretly. In the early hours of the morning when the rest of the house is asleep. Don’t be put off by the anti-lace brigade. The fact that they need to ‘adjust on the move’ means you are already better than them, do it once, do it properly!! or if you do have to tighten or loosen off, stop and have a glass of champagne whilst you do it. Laces are everything, Merckx and Anquetil wouldn’t touch boas and straps and neither should you. Buy now and thank mr forever.

Great shoed
The fit is great and I’m happy that I tried them on in the store because the half size made the difference. The laces work perfectly as well. You can tuck them underneath the elastic and they stay there. I’m very happy with another great product from Rapha.

Excellent wider fit and quality shoes
On the search for shoes to fit my wider feet. After reading reviews on the Classic shoe being a wider fit i went for it. Love the silver/grey colour. Very pleased with the wider fit / and sizing info being accurate for a size 46. Not so pleased when opening the box to find one of the laces totally damaged- a large chunk ripped off the lace near the the top eyelets . Requested replacement grey lace , and was told they don't have any avail!! Comes with spare set of black laces so that will do i guess.

If you like laces these are the shoe for you
The most comfortable lace up out there in my opinion (and yes I own the ‘others’ beginning in S- and G too) and in terms of value for money, absolutely unbeatable. Upper cleans up amazingly well even after ridiculous abuse, and that’s the white ones!

Stylish performer but size up and wear concerns
If you like the styling of these (and I do) then these are great looking, comfortable and good riding shoes. Personally, I really like the laces but that may not be everyone's cup of tea. Three things to note;
1. These size small. My usual size had to be returned for two sizes up (43 to 45) and even then it isn't roomy.
2. They are best suited for warm weather riding, which I haven't tested but have tested them in cold weather and the perforations are a design negative in that context. I anticipate them being great in the spring and summer.
3. The heel is minimal and is likely to wear quickly. Of course they're not walking shoes but looking at wear on other cycling shoes, that is one area that can mean shoes need replacing when nothing else is wrong with them. I would have liked to see Rapha consider that design feature with more of an eye on sustainability (bigger or more robust heels or better yet, replaceable heels) would prolong the life of the shoe.
Style, comfort and function would get 5 stars. Sustainability brings them down to 3.

Quality shoes that don't quite break the bank
The classic shoes are supremely comfortable and I've ridden over 100k without a whisper from my feet. The laces give adjustability for various sock thicknesses, and they tuck away nicely in the little elastic loop on the tongue. Power transfer is spot on, and the rubber coating of the heal area has protected it and my floors from scrapes. My model is the pearl black, it glints in the sunshine and wipes clean because of the high gloss finish. I think I'll be keeping hold of these for quite a while.

Beautiful, comfortable, classy!
I love, love, love these shoes. I am so bummed that most of the other colors are unavailable in my size. I want to buy more. I have the black pearl color and they are so classy. They fit perfect, run true to size, and are extremely comfortable for riding. Not the greatest for walking, especially when you catch a flat :( I hope that Rapha restocks this shoe. Do yourself a favor and get a pair. You won’t regret it one bit. I own several brands of road cycling shoes and these by far are my favorite.

love the style
Got myself the silver edition and they do not dissapoint! Lace closure system really helps well to spread the pressure over the foot. No pressure points at all but you need to be a bit patient in the beginning to find which tension works best for you. Only wish there would be half sizes all the way. First got myself the 46 but had to size up to 47. 46 is a bit tight and 47 is a bit roomy, the inbetween size would have been perfect. Thanks to the snug heel fit the room in front is not a problem.

First time!
This is my first time using lace up cycling shoes. My initial concern was how long the laces are when I tie them it always appears like they could get tangled up in the sprocket or chain ring. However, the shoe comes with all with a little thing that allows you to secure the ends of your laces on the top of your shoe. I have worn a number of brands of cycling shoes, but this pair seems to be the most comfortable. I use the arch inserts that came with the shoes and it seems to be working well.

new shoes
Bought these as a Christmas present to myself. Took them out on a tough 4 hour ride out in the peak district on Boxing day. At first they felt a little heavier and stiffer than my usual shoes but after a while I acclimatised and they felt really comfortable. The shoelace fastening stayed in place with no movement and my feet kept nice and warm under my over covers. So far so good! I bought the white version and can't wait to wear them without the covers in better weather as they look class.
