Excellent for repeated use
Perfect match for my needs. I go for fairly short rides but often and cannot wash the garment after all rides. This jersey really does not start to smell, so it can be used even for weeks without washing. Also otherwise very high quality and looks great!

Perfect Autumn jersey
Great piece of kit, really well constructed, keeps me warm but not sweaty on Autumn commute chilly mornings and evenings, just need a decent gullet for most of the winter. Good fit, I’m 6’1” and 80kg, medium was perfect fit.

Great Jersey
Very stylish, understated, and well fitting. I wear a small generally and a small fit perfectly (5'8", 131 lbs, 31 waist). Material is soft and breathes extremely well, leading to a high level of comfort over shorter but also longer (>50 mile) rides. Pockets are easy to use. Fit works well over a base layer, under a cycling jacket, or on its own. Really on a higher level in terms of the style and materials compared to typical cycling kit.

Quality and details tat are great
Beautiful fabric, nice details, warmish. It's not a winter weight but maybe spring fall with a layer under it. It's made with wool. I got an XL which fits me as a tall guy. (6'-3" 205 lbs.) It borders on big for me so if you want it tight, large would maybe work. It's a narrow enough torso even if XL. Good stretch. The peacock blue is handsome. Not sure about the white placket, but why not. Great pockets.

Quite an expensive jersey but the quality is great
This jersey is quite expensive but rather nice. I had one for several years, really like it, it survived a fall and saw my size drop from "bursting at the seams" to "a bit loose". Got another one to mix and match colours. Despite being wool, it is not super warm on cold mornings, but enough room to put a base layer if needed. Don't mind riding it at 20C or even more - it's not making me sweat either.

Great classic with perfect fit
I bought this for my boyfriend, who has been looking for a long sleeve jersey for a long time. He is 6’-5’’ so it was tricky for him to find a long sleeve jersey that fits regarding the arm lenght. The fit of this one is perfect. Plus, the quality of the fabric and the details are neat! Great classic piece for a cyclist looking to go for cooler rides!

Sizing a mystery
I normally wear something between a M and a L, so it’s not uncommon to guess wrong on the first try with a particular jersey. So, I ordered M and it was too small. But when I got the L, it too was a bit too short in the torso. Workmanship looks good; it’s the right amount of warmth in our not-very-cold California climate.

Classic Rapha Quality
Great quality jersey. Was worried about the sizing being 6’6 with a 44inch chest but braved the XL & had no issues. Fits really well even after multiple washes. Ideal for the colder mornings just now & I’ve actually worn it all day when the sun was out to keep the windchill off my torso. Would definitely buy again.

If You Don't Own One, Buy it NOW.
I ride in northern California. Gravel and road. This is my 2nd Classic Long Sleeve, one for each gear bag. During the winter months, when temps start in the mid- to high-40's and never get warmer than 60 degrees, this is my go-to jersey. Paired with a light under layer and vest, I am comfortable all day. The jersey feels warm to start but settles in to ideal temperature regulation when the ride really gets rolling. Longer sleeves sit over my gloves, blocking all unwanted airflow. Full zip allows for additional temperature regulation as needed. Pockets don't sag and zippered rear stash for secure and easy access to valuables. Quality construction and basic color scheme does not go out style. My first classic long sleeve is now 5+ years old and looks as good as the day I bought it.

Very nice and functional jersey
I bought this as a early spring/autumn jersey and I am very pleased with it. Its war and protects well against the wind but still lets out the sweat. I picked a size XL (weight 90 kg), and I cycle 3-4 times a week (250-350 km)

The classic jersey is, well, a classic.
I missed a chance to review my classic short sleeve, so I got a long sleeve as well. These jerseys are not all stretchy like some, they are made of actual woven fabric. It means you have to get the right size, but once you do the fit is great and it makes you feel faster! At first you think the arms are too long, but once you're on the bike they're perfect. There are little touches of quality like the zipped pocket for keys and a hidden toggle adjuster to make the hem just how you want it.
I like riding early... even hot days have cool starts and the short sleeve is great for that. The long sleeve is for cooler days, maybe down towards 10 degrees.
Rapha seem to like fine toothed zips and I always feel I have to be super careful with them... but no problems so far, so maybe it's just me worrying.

Quality Jersey for Autumn and Spring
Well made jersey which you can wear quite few times before it needs a wash, which is certainly environmentally friendly. You can mix this up with a base layer and a gilet and cover quite a range of temperatures in Spring and Autumn. If it gets warm when you're out I can pull up the sleeves as they are not too tight. I'd only go for a winter jacket when getting down to about 6C.
Large fits me well and I've got a 40in chest with a belly that's a bit bigger than I want it to be.

Short and itchy but otherwise good
The jersey seems well built but I have two criticisms: 1) It is shorter in the back than my other biking jerseys and, perhaps because of this, the three back pockets are hard to use in the sense of straining your elbow to put something in and get it out. 2) Surprisingly I find the material itchy next to my skin so that I have found wearing a nylon undershirt is necessary. Now this may be only a warm weather problem because once it gets cold I likely won't notice the feel.

My absolute favorite jersey in the spring/autumn!
I got this to use during the autumn and the fit is great (181 cm, 80 kg size M). Merino works wonders during the colder seasons here in Sweden, and this is usually my go-to jersey during this time of year. Either by itself with a vest on-top or as a layer on-top of a winter jacket. I ended up getting another one of these since I ride quite a lot all year and was so happy with the first one.
I have nothing bad to say about this jersey, it's just great!

A good bit of Autumn kit
This merino jersey/jacket is a very good piece of Autumn kit. It doesn't overheat on the warmer days and retains body heat when it's cooler/cold. It's very breathable and surprisingly wind resistant. A rain jacket or gilet in the back pocket and you're covered for most Autumn Spring weather conditions. Haven't had a chance to try it in really cold weather yet. The sizing guide is accurate. Glad I got it in the sale though!

Classic Long Sleeve Jersey perfect balance.
What a surprise this Jersey is, I tend to run hot when riding and this jersey has kept me warm when needed while not making me sweat too much when pushing hard. The material drys fast so you are not continually riding in a wet jersey. The fit is good, the arms could be a little shorter but that is just me being a little shorter. This is a great addition to the wardrobe and will get used a lot in the cooler months.

Perfect for spring/autumn rides
Perfect for spring/autumn rides when it's a bit cooler. Soft and breathable fabric with a bit of stretch makes this very comfortable. Unzip a bit and it provides airflow to cool you. I bought the black with a black band - very subtle branding.

SoCal Winter Jersey
This is one of the best long sleeve jersey for Southern California "winters". It keeps you warm in the morning and then cools you as the temperatures climbs in the afternoon. The fit is great except for the sleeves which is a tad bit long on me but I think that is more of me than how the jersey is designed. The pockets are a bit high but I am used to that from other Rapha jerseys.

Why didn't I buy it before
The is one of those items that once you have bought it you wonder why you did not buy it before. It is well made , comfortable to wear and provides just the right amount of additional warmth for those autumn rides after a summer of shirt sleeved shirts. Sizing guide good. My only criticism is that the zip is very hard to get working at the start of its journey up the garment.

Great autumn and spring jersey
This is my new "go to" jersey for autumn riding. I've worn it in 15C//60F weather with a mesh base layer vest, and it's provided sufficient warmth. Breathability is as you'd expect for merino, but I tend to need to unzip it on longer ascents as it can quickly heat up.
I'm 6' and 84kg and the medium fits me well on the bike; the arms, chest and shoulders are perfect. The material feels soft and is very comfortable. The waist adjustment chords are adequate, but the torso does't fit as snugly as a lycra jersey. I'm fine with that though as I know that's just one of the characteristics of merino; overall the jersey feels great.
The quality after a month of wear and a few washes appears good so far. I purchased the orange and dark yellow colourway. It provides a bit more visibility on the road and a welcome splash of colour to my cycling wardrobe. Am looking forward to wearing it on mild winter days and the spring.

Happy with this jersey
I’ve only used my jersey a couple of times in weather that was 40-50F and 45-55F, high winds both times. I needed a base layer to keep me warm and comfortable both times. The jersey kept me warm and did a great job wicking moisture. The fit is great and not too tight but just slightly loose. I’m 5’8” and 180 lbs and wear a large. Very happy with the purchase.

Great Long Sleeve Jersey
I ordered this jersey and the long sleeve core jersey at the same time. I'm 180cm and 100kg so I ordered an XXL in both. The LS Core Jersey was quite tight but I actually ended up having to order a size down in the Classic Jersey - the XL fit quite well. For reference, I'd say the XL Classic Long Sleeve Jersey fits about the same as my XXL Core Short Sleeve Jersey.

Mild conditions ideal
I was little worried about the material, but it is actually super comfortable warm just enough for those rides when it’s not that cold but you don’t feel like wearing just short jersey and because the wind can go through you don’t sweat like an idiot. I am pretty skinny so the jersey is a bit loose on my arms but anyway, I definitely recommend it.

Super Happy with this jersey
I am super happy with this jersey. I live in Calgary and have worn this a few times. Usually when I start the ride in the morning it is around 10c and it warms up to about 20c. The jersey keeps me at the right temperature all throughout the ride. The functionality is important for me ... since it is a Rapha i don't have to worry about styling.

Rapha Classic Jersey
My first classic jersey and it is a revelation - super soft, warm and a joy to wear. Fit is perfect - can’t believe I’ve not had one before. It’s first outing was on a road trip in the Lake District and like Rapha says I did wear it two different days without washing. It didn’t smell and felt fine the next day - perfect jersey for trips away.

Awesome product
First Rapha product I’ve owned and really pleased with it. The fit is perfect and its really good quality - very comfortable to wear when it’s not too warm. I find all I need is a base layer underneath and a lightweight gilet over the top of it and I’m ok even if the temperature is near freezing. Feels like it will last a long time.

Great long sleeve jersey
I've used already a few times and I'm very happy with the purchase. Fabric is great, as well as the design and fit, I purchased an L, probably M would also work but with a couple of layers for winter/early spring rides I preferred to remain a bit on the relaxed side. I'm 180cm for 83kg. So far I'm very happy with the jersey.
