The bib for the extra mile
bibs which are doing what they promise.
Comfy bibs with a (for me) perfectly working chamois pad for long distances (+150km).
Breathable fabrics which don't start to itch when you are a few hours in the saddle.
Grippers are doing well, but could be turned on a notch.
These bibs with the grippers of a Pro Team Bib Shorts II would be heaven!
why not 5 stars:
the stitches which are holding all the panels together have the intention
to get loose once in a while. Nothing to worry about, but it looks a bit
weird while the coffee stop ;-)

Insert not the best
A bit disappointed with the seat insert. Pinches a bit in the fold in groin area and you can feel the seam stitch, even with lots of cream applied. Otherwise a nice fit on legs and well made. But like all Rapha stuff, hugely overpriced...that's branding for you!

Solid Short, but Funny Cut
These bibs are what you would expect from Rapha in terms of fit, materials, feel, quality and chamois. Even the leg length is good, despite there not being an overt "long" choice. However, the cut of this short throws me off: The front is quite high and it makes nature breaks challenging to say the least. Which is odd considering this is a "training" short and presumably you are logging long miles in them and, hence, in need of a nature break or two while on the road. If not for the cut, I would rate these much higher.

A really good BIB
Nice looking and comfortable, but just a little too tight. But I'm also a bit bulkier than most with my 177cm and 79kg. Stuck in between, where L is too long and M is to tight. But for everyone else they are probably true to size and a perfect fit.

So good I bought a second pair
I bought my first pair of these last year and they quickly became my go-to on longer rides. They have a great fit and awesome compressive feel. The chamois keeps me comfortable on the bike on 100km rides but haven't really gone much over this distance so no idea how they stand up to anything longer.
I came of the bike last summer and slid across some relatively some pretty smooth tarmac for a few metres. I had grazes on my hand calf but the material on my hip showed no signs of wear!
Unfortunately, the velcro on my saddle bag came loose and didn't notice during ride which slightly damage some of the stitching around the chamios on my first pair. This prompted me to buy a second pair on the offchance they would eventually fail but they are still holding up strong.

You must give these a try!
Since purchasing these shorts I’ve gone in and got a lot more pieces based off of their performance. Great fit, the pads don’t feel like they are there until you need them, which is a great thing. Not bulky or excessive in any way, they just do a great job. The elastic at the ends holds perfectly and doesn’t ride up the thigh. These are the pro training bibs so expect a very close fit, perfect for both, I think, training and racing. I strongly recommend giving these a try. Great quality and fit, well worth the price.

Really tight and good fit
In the beginning I started with Rapha Core Bibs, they didn't last long. I tried the Classic and was disappointed, they are to relaxed and the padding is to large. Now I tried the PTT bibs and they feel very good. Tight fit, the padding is the right size and last long in the saddle. The leg grip feels good but as I noticed they are not that durable on the outside. Had them on the trainer, had a soft cloth on the upper tube on the bike as a sweat cloth. I didn't see that every pedal stroke the leg gripper touched the soft cloth and the leg gripper was warn (burled?) But that is a minor thing. It will be interesting to see how durable these shorts are when the outdoor season starts again.
The bibs are wide and comfortable. I'm 183cm, weight is 74kg and my size is medium.

Great pad, decent fit
I was starting to notice the pad on the older Pro team shorts during rides. I read that the pad on these was a little thicker. And generally I find the training gear really good.
These didnt disappoint. The pad was more comfy and I found the fit and grippers decent. Considering another pair; but the only criticism would be the limited colour choices.
I got a size large; my usual size. I've got decent sized legs, and considered sizing up, like with the power weave shorts (again great pad). But large was perfect.

Very much a mixed bag...
The pad sits well for me. However, be warned that the pad is much thicker than most others. The leg bands are pretty good for someone like me with very large quads. They are VERY tall/high in the front. Too much so - a road side nature break would not be possible. The leg logos are rather garish.

Great quality and stylish bibs for regular rides.
Purchased these as a lower cost alternative to the classic shorts as a regular riding short. I am very impressed with the fit (slightly compressive in a good way) and the chamois is excellent given the price. It doesn't hurt that they look very slick too ;)
One slight issue I have had a couple of times is that the stitching in some areas can be slightly irritable after a while but that could be down to the shorts not having sat perfectly or not using chamois cream. I would still absolutely buy these again.

Not terrible, not great
I’m 178 cm, 69 kg and size M fits perfect. For the price the padding should be better. They are not the comfiest bib shorts I ever had but they are ok for 2-3 hour rides. Ok deal if you buy them together with a jersey in a bundle, but definitely not worth 180 worth euros.

Probably my favorite Rapha kit
Love’em. Of the Classic kit, the Pro Team kit, and the Pro Training kit, there are things I like about all ov them, but the Pro Team Training kit may be my favorite because of the elastic bands on the jersey waist and the bib-short legs. Super comfortable and top fit.

Loose Threads
Threads loose from the beginning. Every time they are washed, new threads are being pulled. Not worth the money. The materials are quality but the leg opening is too small and the stitching is poor. You'd be better off getting the Core bibs, more bang for your back.

Great bib performance and styling
My first new pair of Rapha bibs in a while did not disappoint. Beautiful styling, and the chamois is so comfortable. The straps are a bit snug compared to other Rapha bibs I've purchased, but no complaints at all over long rides. Another home run.

Perfect everyday bibs
Medium fits perfectly. Really comfortable and breathable for summer riding. The fabric was fraying close to the inner thigh and Rapha sent a replacement voucher immediately. Top tier customer service! No issues since, perhaps a bad pair.

Poor QC, pro bib is tooooo loooooong
I'm not sure what happened to QC at Rapha, as this pro bib is 1.5" longer than my others, same edition. I've been a Rapha customer for over fifteen years and unfortunately, after a few lousy orders I'm switching brands. No longer a fan!

Problem solved, I have cycled for years off road , we don’t like to wear things like this, but when it comes to long rides off road this product stops all the trying to get comfy and discomfort
So yes I’m converted

Perfect for all riding, just the best
I thought the Core shorts were the best shorts Rapha made, I was wrong, these are my new goto for comuting through club rides and onto whatever else. They seem to have fixed the durability issues that plagued the original Pro Team shorts. Just brilliant. They do have one serious issue. Unlike the original ProTeam shorts, there is very little give in the shoulder straps, which can make impromptu calls of nature quite the contortion if you are not in a position to have a sit down.......

Quality was as expected.
Performed as expected. I’m 6’ and 160lbs and the medium fit me perfectly and kept the legs compressed. Haven’t run into any issue with the logo coming off in the washer. Bibs still look good for me.

Much improved bibs!
Awesome bibs, I bought the 2021 version and these ones are much nicer. Small improved details like the gripper is slightly more snug than the last ones which stood off the leg a tiny bit and I always felt I needed to hike the short to have the leg grip. I'm definitely not the smallest thigh circumference so not sure what that was about, but so glad they've changed. Also, the fabric of these bibs is a bit more breathable than the last iteration which is great especially when zwifting!

Quality comfortable bibs with short shoulder strap
Good quality and comfortable. The straps are short and don't stretch. The website showed Jez who is 6 foot 3 inches wearing a medium, but I figured that wasn't right, so I ordered large. Even the straps on the large are short. I have to be careful putting them on not to rip the seams and they leave marks on my shoulders. It would be better to use a single stretchy shoulder strap instead of the sewn ones.

Good training bib
Fits well and comfortable. I think I got the right sizing and I love the elasticity of it.
Everybody wears one though. It looks too be one of the most common bib in Melbourne nowadays.

High quality comfortable bib shorts.
Best bib shorts I’ve owned in the past 20 years riding. Chamois and fit worked perfect for me. I was having comfort issues and saddle sores the past few years prior. Since switching to these I never feel like readjusting and soreness is gone. Also great company to deal with. After ordering a pair and liking them, I ordered two more. One had a minor stitch loose and Rapha replaced the shorts for free, shipping included, with no problems. Great company that values quality.

Great Bib
192 cm tall, 78kg, took size medium, decent leg length considering my height, maybe a little too tight, but would definitely not go bigger! Race a 160km gravel grider in comfort.

Straps are too short
I'm 1m98 and these bibs have a terrible fit for me. Size XL feels good for the legs, but the straps are way too short. Size XXL doesn't feel good for the legs.

Superb
I was coming from other bibs which were relatively decent, but these are just on another level. So much so that I bought 2 additional pairs straight after.
