The Top Gun of Bibshorts
Being my holy grail of bibshorts over the years, they are long lasting, comfortable on anything from quick hill repeats to 269km of road, gravel stints short and long. They even survived two editions of YOLOmites5000! The standard length suits me fine. Although it seems like they’ve gotten a cm longer. I’m 1,73m with an inseam of 86cm. Size S is and has always been a perfect fit. The color range has been expanded over the years, I would be careful with lighter colors if you’re first and sweat stain conscious ;). I keep coming back to these after trying other brands.

Hands down, Rapha's BEST bib to date!
Ok, here's the skinny on the Pro Team II; If you spend a good amount of time in the saddle, a highly compressive fit is A MUST! Unlike many of the reviews previously submitted, I ended up sizing down (have always worn Med & ended up elated with the Small/Long in this iteration (I'm 5'11/155 lbs)...stay tuned). Fabric, integrated leg gripper, stitching, and upgraded pad, are all much improved overall. That said, the pad could have a bit more density for 50+ mile days in the saddle, especially at this price point. The real game changer for me is the LONG length! Now, don't be fooled by "Long." To most, like myself, Rapha's bib leg length has always been short - disturbingly short, even! Fret no longer, the Rapha gods have arisen and answered our prayers with a NORMAL length bib....which they deem as "Long" but, as mentioned, is really just normal to most. Other notable positives are the tonal logo option (black/black) which give you the ability to wear the bibs with essentially anything - no Rapha, not every bib needs to be branded with the exact jersey color....a bit early 90's Garanimals and long overdue to evolve. Overall the PTB II is vastly improved from its predecessors! Fingers crossed that future production will included other color options with tonal branding (particularly Navy/Navy & Charcoal/Charcoal). Does every bib really need to be black, Rapha?

My new favorites
Medium fits me well - 5'9 155lbs, shorts are very compressive in a good way, everything stays in place where it should be and they are very comfortable. Have done about 10 rides in these so far including a 100 mile ride and they are now my new favorite shorts over some Castelli (compressive but smaller pad, material isn't as soft) and Pactimo ( much thicker pad, not very compressive at all) shorts that I have. Very happy with the pad, the various densities in the pad work well, no issues on long rides and bib straps lay nice and flat and are not noticeable when riding. Only negative on these shorts is the price!

A Bib Short of 2 Halves
Overall, there are a very good set of bibshorts, very good pad, very good compression, high quality fabric, sculpted fit and they look great. They're close to being excellent but, for me at least, the fit isn't quite right. I've worn them on a few long rides and they're very comfortable.
The quality seems very high, the bib shorts are made in Portugal and they look great with a Pro Team jersey. The leg grippers are integral to the leg section of the shorts and creates a very clean look, this is a great design feature.
I find the fit a bit odd, the legs are a good length (long compared to most other brands) and offer an excellent compression-fit around the thighs. However, I find the seat & bibs too generous in size, feels like there's just a bit much space around the 'butt', general bib area and the shoulder straps are an inch or two too long for me.
I'm 5'7", weigh c. 69Kg and have the size medium, I have a lot of Pro Team clothing and am a consistent size medium. I've tried size small in these shorts which were too small around the thighs/legs and believe size medium is the right size for me, albeit with the caveats regarding the less-than-perfect fit for the body-section I've detailed above.

Stitching to pad coming apart
I brought these shorts in April this year and I have used them on about six occasions. The stitching around the chamois pad is coming apart, not what you expect for Pro Team shorts at £150. Its a shame because the fit is good and they do look good. I have asked for a replacement, so hopefully I will receive shortly.

Probably the best shorts in the world
This is my second pair of pro team shorts. I loved my first pair which were better than several other pairs I had tried. The fit is very good, nice and tight in the right places and I love the extra leg length offered as I am tall and can't stand shorts riding halfway up my leg. The only change I have noticed from these type II shorts from the originals is the leg gripper, now has a large gripper band with very minimal detailing, nice but I have only tried with knee warmers so far so interested to know if it is up to the job of keeping things in place.

Comfortable for all types of riding!
Sometimes during my triathlon bike training I want to wear something other than my trisuit...like my Rapha shirts! So I bought a pair of these as a "test run". I'm extremely happy and have worn them on long (50+ mile) rides while spending much of it in the aero position and they are by far the most comfortable cycling shorts/bibs I've ever had. So much so that I bought a 2nd pair. I have even run in them during a bike/run brick. Excellent quality and style to match.

Rapha - Pro Team Bib Shorts II - review
I bought my par two weeks ago, and i have to say they are some of the best bib shorts i have ever owned. I bought a size small, and i am 178 cm tall, and my waist is around 85 cm. the size fits very good. The fit of the shorts are definitely tight, and can be a bit of a struggle to put on. But when you are wearing the shorts, they feel absolutely amazing. I bought a pair in black/white, which to me looks very stylish. The price is a bit steep, but i would rather own one pair of these, than two pairs of another brand of bib shorts.

Very uncomfortable but look great
Ordered in Small (1,83, 69KG) after having had these in medium before, which was a little too large. Very tight in small but I do like my bibs with a snug/compressing fit. The main issue though, is the padding! I'm used to Q36.5 bibs but figured I'd switch it up. I immediately noticed how lightweight this bib is, the padding is super thin! I'm honestly in pain on the bike because the padding is that thin, I can absolutely not use these on longer rides which really should not be the case given their pricetag. Pretty disappointed as I am a big Rapha fan. Sadly cannot return them after having worn them, so now I'm stuck with some (in fairness, great looking) bibs that I can't really wear.

Strange new chammy
Strange new chammy design on the latest Pro Bib Shorts. I’ve got 4 or 5 pairs of these shorts and the latest chammy isn’t the most comfortable The rest of the shorts are the usual standard, well designed, well made, true to size 80kg, 188m (long leg version) and size medium. But the chammy feels as though it’s too far forward and super thick. I’m about 200km into them hoping they’ll wear/wash in, and they are slightly but I far prefer the previous design.

Straps held together with Glue?? - FAIL
Great fabric and fit, but bib straps are still just held together with fabric glue. Yet still I keep buying them. But Rapha designers - WAKE UP, every single pair falls apart prematurely!

Love but
I personally feel the past generation Pro bibs for me better. I have no problems wearing these for 2-3 hours but don't wear them on 4-8 hrs if I am out on the bike.

Look elsewhere if possible bad chamois.
Something has changed with the chamois it’s no longer as good. So after 15 years and about 20 bibshorts that’s it I’m afraid Rapha no more purchases from me.

Took a couple rides, but fits incredibly now.
I spent years on Craft and Castelli bib shorts where after ~3 hrs in the saddle I would start to get some hot spots downtown. The Craft shorts finally lead to a saddle sore. I wanted an upgrade, and this is it. The Pro Team bib shorts have the chamois a bit more forward that covers more of the actual contact area than most shorts, and the padding holds up over hours and hours; I just completed a century in these and my grundle felt great. I do have to warn buyers - the first ~60 miles in these were actually not great. It turns out they just needed to stretch and relax into my body shape. The first ride, the seam down the middle of the chamois slightly rubbed and the shoulder straps were a tad tight (purchased a M and I am 6'1"). The second ride, the front of the chamois caused by package to get sloshed side to side when climbing out of the saddle. But by ride 3 everything had stretched just enough and the shorts are sheer perfection. So give it a couple rides.

The Best
These are in my opinion, the best shorts available, and I have tried a fair few. They are supportive, tight but supremely comfortable. I cannot fault in any way.
I am just over 6ft, 75kg, 32/33 inch waist and the medium are a perfect fit. Tight yes, but don't feel to tight.
However...the color! I am really not sure about the blue! I bought as have ridden in black shorts for over 30 years... The blue is quite bright and not the same blue as the pro team gilet I already had, which seems darker. I actually wish now I'd stuck to usual black...anyhow, that's personal!

Great pair bibs: slick and luxurious comfort
The comfort and fit on these shorts is phenomenal, they disappear on the ride, which is to say that once I was in the saddle they just worked without me thinking about them. The material and construction are excellent...phenomenal quality. They didn't ride up, didn't bind, and the pad felt great and extends somewhat on the outside of the short...not the inside, which really seems to make a difference. I particularly appreciate the gentle tapered fit and support around the thighs, as other shorts I own either have silicone bands that irritate my skin, or are so tight they squeeze my thighs uncomfortably. I'm extremely satisfied with these and will most definitely buy bibs from Rapha again.

Super comfortable
The price put me off at first but decided to buy a pair to see what they were like. Im so glad i did, by far the most comfortable pair of bib shorts i've ever worn. First time i wore them, i cycled over 100 miles & they were fantastic, definitely my go to bib shorts for long rides. I wasnt sure of what size to buy but after reading all the reviews, i felt confident that a size medium would be perfect for me. Im 6'3" 70kg waist 30"

Best bib shorts I’ve ever ridden
These are superb, I’ve not ridden any other shorts that come close to the fit and comfort. I’ve got a pair from a couple of years ago and this latest set seem a much better fit for me, supportive and the bib straps seem shorter which I prefer - gives a really good fit when on the bike.
Aesthetically they are also superb, I opted for navy which compliments the burnt orange aero jersey well.
Ten out of ten, well done Rapha!

The best just got better
I own multiple pair of the original Pro Team Bibs and they've always been my favorite. I didn't think they could get much better, but these are! The chamois is somehow equally more comfortable and less noticeable – a winning combo in my book. The shaping of the panels around the hips feels freeing and the long gripper on the bottom makes the smoothest transition to your skin. A really upgrade from my favorite set of bibs.

Snug fit and well wick
An indeed high quality pair of bibs, its workmanship on all its seams are carefully sewed. I am big built at 6"1 and weigh ~220lbs wearing a XL. I would comment that the sizing are "true" size as compare to the t-shirt size that I habe worn for this particular model. The material wick out sweat efficiency, the champis is also well constructed. I don't experience any butt sore after rode a 100km ride. Highly recommended.

All good, except for the lower part of the leg
First, the good stuff: fit is true to size, cut is superb, feeling is snug, material is comfy, shammy's impeccable. But... the elastic bands on the lower part have already loosened after 3 uses. It feels worn out, and mostly looks worn out. I have muscular thighs, this should be tight, whatever my leg position. But when I pedal and my leg is down, it wrikles, opens up and looks like I've worn them a 100 times or more.

Marginal gains
I have been riding with the original pro team bib shorts for about a year. They are the best bib shorts I have used and so I was curious how Rapha could have improved them. I rode these on 2 consecutive days, once for 60km, and the other about 100km. While these too are truly excellent bib shorts, my take on the changes are: 1) I have found them slightly less compressive than the originals; 2) the chamois is a bit firmer; 3) the leg grippers are slightly wider and more comfortable. For all of these changes, the shorts are different and perhaps slightly better, but not by much - they were great shorts to start with. In all, you won't regret buying these. They are worth the money and, as with the originals, once you use them, you will struggle to go back to anything else.

Stylish cut and quality material
I’m 6’5 and 13st 5lbs. I originally ordered the XL but it wasn’t skin right at the thighs. I reordered the L after getting some advice from customer services. They gripper is perfect this time and the length is stop on. My only complain is that the straps need to be a bit longer. Standing up the shorts are tight on my shoulders and groin. I expect this will get better with time and isn’t an issue when riding.
I’m really happy with the shorts but they are far too expensive so I won’t be kicking myself out with pure Rapha. I’ll keep an eye out for the sales before I buy anymore items n

Rapha Pro Team Bib Review
These bibs are “race fit”, they have wide leg grippers, the chamois is comfortable and doesn’t move around at all. The only part that could be improved further is the material used, it’s fairly thin and cheap feeling, seems to be the same as the training Rapha bibs I also have. I chose the black/black colour way which looks great, and they get the job done but aren’t my favourite bibs out of the ones I own.

Great bibs with one possible improvement.
Not much to say about an already great bib. These are my 4th or 5th pair. I keep coming back for the oversize thigh-grippers and the ergonomics of the chamois when in the saddle. I held back a star bc the inner thigh seam does tend to rub away over time, and with it the chamois can separate from the lycra. But considering the many hours and days spent on the bike that's an acceptable, to me, wear point.

Supremely Comfortable
I've been riding in Rapha bibs for a long time, and these are hands down my new favourite. They are light, the fit is great, and the new gripper really stands out to me to make this my favorite. I'm 5'11", 145lbs, and I wear a small.

Straps are way too short
The Straps are way too short for anybody over 5'6" on a size small. The stupid thing is short people are not going to buy a long leg version, only taller people with a 31" waist, like myself are. Rapha just made the legs longer without imaging who would actually want such a thing. It's hard to find clothes that fit when you're not fat, and as a premium cycling product, it's disappointing that these are designed for people with money instead of athletes.
Also the decorative stripes on the shoulder of the straps are totally stupid. Straps should be solid white or black and nothing else ever. Mesh jerseys need like-colored bib straps or else you get a white shirt, black bra fashion fail, which the bra-wearing gender is well-aware of. Those stripes shine right through my semi-transparent white jerseys, which looks bad. Why put any decoration at all on something that's meant to always be covered?
The pad's fine and everything else is fine, but certainly not worth the premium sum I paid. The colors on offer are great, if only the straps would just be solid white or solid black.

Too tight for me
Be careful when buying these pants. The shorts are very tight and I honestly don’t feel a man anymore after I have cycled for one hour. My privates are getting numb and the straps are hurting my shoulders. This is the race edition, so if you do not like (very) tight pants go with the Classic one. I wasted a lot of money on these pants.
