I love this jacket, video in my review
This jacket is great for all conditions. It breaths, blocks the wind, and keeps you warm. I made a video about it on my Youtube channel here: https://youtu.be/Ya51nNei4m0

Almost perfect. Almost
Bought fluo green version to use for commutes where it was dark and I'd be carrying a rucksack as my Shakedry is too delicate and too dark. Visibility is excellent as you'd expect and the fit is perfect for me (all my Rapha jerseys/jackets are medium) and is nice and racy without flappiness. Cuffs are nice and close to prevent water ingress and the gore fabric is great at keeping the rain out. It's got a two-way zip for easy access to rear jersey pockets but my only gripe is the zip isn't the smoothest and I can't operate it with one hand. This is the only reason it doesn't score the full five stars from me.

Kept me dry in a downpour of Biblical proportions!
Great waterproof!
I got caught in a downpour of Biblical proportions in Southern Spain last week with 20kM still to ride. I didn’t overheat and my torso was perfectly dry when I got back.
I’m a medium in the Classic jersey and Pro Team training jersey but ordered a large - it’s good fit over the top of other layers.

Best pack away jacket I have owned.
Great jacket perfect to have in your pocket on any ride. The fit is pretty good and does not flap around like some jackets.

Good, but not perfect
It's good. Looks beautiful, naturally. Packs up nice and small. And yet, for something that has zero features and is literally a lightweight waterproof, it could be lighter. The Goretex does a fabulous job of keeping moisture out, but I find this garment has a habit of keeping the moisture in, too. Whenever I've worn it, I've warmed up very quickly and been pretty damp when I've taken it off.

Fantastic race-fit rain jacket
Rapha sizing is somewhat frustrating - some garments a medium comes up a bit big, sometimes it's tiny. Probably more of an issue on the pro fit items where sizing is more critical. This jacket has no flexibility so size is important - I needed a Large and even then it's a snug fit. You wouldn't want a thick jacket on underneath. It is brilliantly waterproof, with rain just beading off it. It's also extremely light and packs up very small to fit in a jersey pocket.

Rainless
Tragically, since I purchased this it hasn't rained normally in the UK for over a month. I took it out on a short evening ride as a windstopper and tested its functionality by riding no handed and trying to get it in my back pocket. Note: To take it off mid-ride you have to invert it.
As with Rapha Pro kit - the 'pro' athlete/contortionist will enjoy a close fit - particularly around wrists, for obvious reasons of keeping water and sideways rain out. I returned my first order and changed size with no questions asked and speedy redelivery from Rapha.
I like the green and peach colourway and the fitting presumably looks plush at the café, with an unmistakable Rapha logo where it matters. It packs down to brevet jersey pocket (i haven't tested it on a pro jersey) but I can't know how many times scrunching it up will retain waterproofing - it hasn't rained once.
I would say that out of the parcel the item feels delicate, and when you've spent £££s on it, it's like handling a very expensive silk undergarment. If you like that feel when you cycle (and I do) then this is for you. Only time and hopefully some rain will tell if this is jacket will endure.

Excellent jacket
Lo the Jacket, fits very well and is well constructed. Gore-Tex works perfect. The only flaw of the Jacket is that it doesn't have any pockets and getting this from the jersey under the Jacket is difficult. I would prefer at leat a small pocket in the chest o the regular pockets in the back

Smart fitting weather protection
The Pro Team GORE-TEX Rain Jacket is a very well made piece that does it's job well. I originally ordered a men's medium but found the arms too baggy. With the size small, the jacket fits tightly but in a good way. When you are riding the bike the fit is perfect, and while many have said that they wished for pockets on this jacket, the back is cut loose enough that you can fit gels and your phone in a jersey underneath. I have another rain jacket for colder weather which I can layer underneath so with this one think of it as a shell over a thin base layer and jersey and you'll be good to go.

Excellent product
I reside in beautiful Scotland; I needed a rain jacket that could perform well in the Scottish rain. Nutshell; In frequent use in heavy and light rain - it reforms excellently, keeps me bone dry and well ventilated. It is easy to fold away in back pocket as well. Truely excellent product

Waterproof / breathability / visibility, poor fit
This jacket is the closest thing I've tried to the holy grail of gortex shakedry. Its very waterproof & breathable, looks great and is visible in the green colour I got it, but the one downside is the fit. It's tight on the wrists, which stops drafts but make is so difficult to get on / off (mainly off). The whole fit of the jacket is odd - tight around the chest / stomach / shoulders, loose on the arms and lower back (lower back for full pockets I assume). But it's nice and short at the front so it doesn't bunch up like other waterproofs. Very close to being the perfect jacket for me

If you are unsure…don’t resist…awesome
Beyond awesome. I’d held back on buying a Gore tex jacket on the basis that the cost could not justify the benefits. I am a fool. Having worn the jacket on top of two layers I comfortably ridden in wet , drizzle and mist for up to 7 hours. When combined with a solid overshoe and thermal bib tight 3 degrees was not an issue. Sizing is a bit on the short size for me but I am an odd shape. 6ft 2 and 68kg. Not a huge issue but it does mean that some jerseys are visible and not covered at the front.

Great jacket
Great jacket.. .. im 5.10 and 85kg 42" chest .. 32" waist i ordered an XL and its a good fit over my jersey.. not to tight but not flapping around either .. the colour is more of a washed out yellow/ lime not a neon yellow so far so good.. water.proof holds up but not really tested it for prolonged periods .. im sure it will be fine .. my only wish would be for the drop tail to be longer ... alittle more coverage.. like the castelli idro pro3 ... and id give it a 6 out of 5 😆

An all-round raincoat
It's a slim fit jacket, which is good because it doesn't flap around in the wind. I had the opportunity to use it in light and heavy rain. It absolutely fulfills the expectations, does not get soaked and breathes well. I recommend!

Really does keep me dry
The best jacket I've had for keeping the rain out. And amazingly it doesn't make me sweaty either. I almost always have a problem choosing between small and medium, and this was no exception. I'm 175cm and 64kg, and I settled for the small. It's just a bit tight around the cuffs, and luckily I have small wrists. I like the two-way zip, which lets me easily get into my jersey back pockets.

Great looking quality waterproof jacket
Bought as a present for my husband who wanted a lightweight, non-bulky waterproof cycling jacket. After looking at several brands/designs, the Rapha Pro Team Gore-tex jacket was the one he preferred. Size wise, his measurements were closer to Small than Medium (5ft 10 and lean build) but I ordered both so he could compare. The Medium was spot on - like other reviews state, if in doubt I'd recommend sizing up. The jacket itself looks great and packs down very neatly into a jersey pocket. It's just a shame it hasn't rained yet!

Lightweight Jacket - great for multi day racing
I bought this jacket as I wanted a lightweight waterproof to take on the 2023 Transpyrenees bike packing race. It has had a thorough try out - rain, wind, sunshine.
Firstly, it is light enough and small enough to be carried in a rear pocket with no issues. I am 6"1 (185cm) and 12st 10 (80kg). A large fitted snugly, and allowed for a jersey beneath, and at night a long arm jersey as well.
There are no pockets, but this is no issue with the two way zip allowing access to rear pockets - even less of an issue when bike packing with frame bags.
Before buying, I read other reviews and there was mixed opinion on the ability of the jacket to allow moisture out. Having ridden over multiple mountains in humid but wet conditions, it was noticeable that there was moisture inside. I didn't notice any water getting in from outside. The conditions though were extreme, and I was not surprised that not all moisture could get out. It definitely kept me dry from the rain.
I used the jacket on multiple fast descents - great wind proofing, and when doubled up with arm warmers, plenty warm enough.
I constantly took the jacket on and off - the cuffs are tight, so I always stopped to do this - not an issue on a multi-day race, but worth noting if stopping is not your thing.
I bought the lime colour for visibility - it does come up quite dirty, but I hope appropriate washing will resolve.
Overall, highly recommended. Be realistic about what it can manage on extracting sweat, and this is a great jacket.

Looking forward to staying dry & looking good!
Treated myself to this to match my cycling buddies, who all have one. They are big fans of this and say it keeps them completely dry at all times. It looks great too. I’m a Large in the Core range so I tried both Large and XL in this as I knew it fitted tight. Im 6ft, 13st4 and Large is just perfect.

Good fit, packs down really small and kept me dry in the rain.
Only slight criticism is that the cuffs are fairly tight with no velcro release - good for keeping water out but makes it difficult getting the jacket off especially if trying to do it on the move. That's probably nit-picking though!!

Super waterproof. Very impressed!
A rain jacket that’s super light, comfortable and actually really waterproof. I got caught in delude thunderstorm and was riding in flash floods for half hour. When I got back I was surprised when I took the jacket off that my cycle top was still dry and warm. Fits really nicely in jersey pocket.

Nearly as good and perhaps better than shake dry
It is nice to have a waterproof jacket that is waterproof, breathable and a colour that stands out. Seems a bit more rugged than the shake dry fabric and not that much less compact.

Great product, in between sizes choose larger size
Fit I thought was a little small based on size guide. I bought a small and wear this for most other sizes. It would work but felt constricted on the arms. Part of this is the product design. Traded for a medium and much happier. If in between sizes would go up one. Otherwise, this is a great product and have not found a comparable one on the market. Well worth the price. Do wish it had back pockets.

From Canada to the most northern pass in Norway!
This jacket does it all and keeps you dry. Tested in cold springs months of Canada and on Norway’s rainy Sognefjellet mountain pass in mid July at 5 degrees C.

Poor quality product
Sadly I am now on the 3rd jacket in 12 months - a dodgy zip, dodgy elasticated wrist band, and now the reflective strips are coming off!

Outstanding
I bought this jacket for a tour through the Pyrenees. I had some horrendously rainy days, including one when I was in the rain for seven hours. At the end of seven hours, I took the jacket off. My clothes underneath would dry and I had been comfortable all day. The combination of waterproofing and breathability is excellent. Not only that, the jacket fits well that is barely noticeable in use. I would definitely buy again and happily recommend it to my friends.
