With its refined matte main body, a waterproof coating and a leather contrast stripe with cast metal Rapha logo, the Travel Backpack will carry your essentials in style, whether you’re heading into the city or away to another. Key improvements include a new one-piece moulded back panel with channels designed to adapt to your body and promote airflow, as well as a small zipped side pocket for keys and other essentials which can be accessed quickly even with the bag’s rain cover in place.
Maximizing the bag’s 25 litre capacity, it unzips in a clamshell style to lie fully flat, allowing you to pack and access its contents like a suitcase. A separate padded laptop pocket keeps a 13” laptop safe, and a magnetic sternum strap stabilises the bag on your back when fully loaded. A quick access front pocket gives you access to smaller items on the go and incorporates an internal slip pocket and zipped pocket to hold travel documents wherever your trip takes you. The main compartment features a mesh pocket to house the pack’s hi-vis pink rain cover when not in use.

Very good backpack
This is a great backpack and I am very happy with it. It's very stylish, working brilliantly for work and travel - I've done a 3 night trip with it, was a bit tight but doable. It is also very comfortable on the back, fully loaded and with a laptop too.
Two potential improvements, an exterior water bottle pocket would be great, but without losing the speak style. Second, and a bit subjective, it's not quite wide enough for a pair of shoes (size 8) horizontally, which means they take up more space than would be ideal.
The above are minor comments and I would highly recommend this pack - it's my go to bag

The bag I got but not the bag I want
I was really looking forward to getting this pack primarily as a weekend getaway bag but also to use as a computer bag. For both it falls short. As other reviews indicate is absolutely needs a a larger top loop to hang it off of other wheeled luggage. As a computer bag or weekend bag it needs more interior pockets for pens, cords and cables. The zippers are classy but hard to open. There is a strange little side pocket that could maybe accommodate a toothbrush but it is unclear what the purpose is. It is comfortable, low profile and it slides nicely under a plane seat or regional commuter overhead. All in all I would give it low marks for functionality (most Rapha product as highly functional).

Good bag for an efficient commute
Pre COVID this would be great but in a world of hot desking I tend to have to carry a lot more than I used to for my commute. Thus making the travel backpack a bit of a stretch to take a laptop/charger and change of clothes/shoes plus any spares.
Another issue is the durability. Not used too much but already having some stitching issues along the zipper. Will see if it gets any worse.

I bought the backpack because I wanted a nice one that I could use also when I went to the office. I was concerned because my laptop is 15'' and it is advertised to fit only 13. Actually my 15'' asus fits perfectly. the quality is super and I'm really satisfied with it

Super good looking and super comfortable to carry
Super good looking and super comfortable to use. You could only think to add the the handle to carry also on the side (there is one on the top) and from the inside add the strap so it can be attached to the cabin language handle.

Solid backpack for overnight trips.
* Really good weight and cabin size backpack.
* Clever little pockets for small things like keys, headphones, passport, tickets, charger and charging cables etc.
* Enough space for laptop or i-pad.
* Enough space for jeans, 1-2 shirts, 1-2 pair socks etc.
* Hold shape really when empty.
* Beautiful and minimalistic Rapha design.
* Very light and super comfortable backpack

The best backpack!
I got this one for my B-day and I absolutely love it! As I am requiered to wear smart casual at work, this backpack looks elegant enough and it manages to hide all my clothes for an afternoon ride/ training.

Quality backpack, but not for cyclist anymore
Disappointment compared to previous model; this one has no rain cover or hip belt. Still, quality as always, now more for leisure than cycling.

What are the dimensions and weight of this bag? Is the interior split similar to the older version? From the pictures, it looks more dark grey than black, is that correct?
The dimensions are W 25 cm x H 42 cm x D 17 cm. The bag weights 976 grams. When unzipped the bag splits to lay flat. The main body of the bag is a black nylon fabric, the leather stripe down the middle reflects more light, so it can look grey, but the bag is definitely black.

Hi, you mention the backpack has 25 litres capacity, with dimensions 42cm x 25cm x 17cm. A little bit of maths tells me that this equates to 17.85 litres, not 25 litres? Can you confirm which dimensions or capacity is accurate for the current backpack?
Previous answers say that the backpacks depth is 17cm. Having received my order the backpack is smaller than previous designs at only 14cm deep which would also effect the overall capacity in litres. Why is it still advertised as the previous design?
