Description
Inspired by the Rapha Brevet credo of ‘pack light, travel far’, the multi-functional Brevet Long Sleeve Windblock Jersey fuses the all-day performance of a merino jersey, with the wind-protection of a gilet.
Warm and insulating, an overlaid panel made from the fabric of the Rapha Brevet Gilet has been stitched onto the front of the jersey and the arms, doing away with the need for a windbreaker or a base layer because the panel layers over the jersey fabric. With reflective and hi-vis Brevet stripes on the front and back, and a total of five pockets, this is a versatile piece with ample storage for food and tools. Paired with its ability to be washed and dried overnight, this makes the Brevet Long Sleeve Windblock Jersey the perfect companion for multi-day adventures by bike.

Run the tape around the narrowest part of your waist holding the tape horizontally.

Perfect for Autumn days
Quality materials, good fit and finds just the right balance between warmth and cooling. I've found it most suitable for temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees C, whereas I was too hot wearing the Core Winter Jacket in this temperature band. I'm 185cm and wear a Large.

Great Cool Weather Kit
I wore on a cool and foggy 49 F morning ride with a lightweight long sleeve wool baselayer. No wind penetration came through the front or arms so on descents was perfectly comfortable. On climbs, 1/2 unzipped jersey and it breathed well. Next time I'll try a short sleeve baselayer at this temp range as my arms didn't need the base. I'm 5'-11" and 175 lbs and the Large fit perfectly. Great addition to my gear.

Excellent at it’s best
Don’t think the jersey will be only for wind protection, it is much more universal. Fabric is thin and gentle, but surprisingly keep you worm, that’s why I find it perfect for rides in 5-10 degrees. I recommend for anyone looking for long sleeve resolution on bike.

Great product!
Ordered a Medium which fits me perfect, i’m 5’10’’ (long torso) & 68kg. I really like the front side zipped pockets. The wind blocking material on the front torso and arm panels works brilliantly. Perfect for cold and windy rides.

Best California winter jersey/jacket
I ride on the central coast of California. We often start in the low 40s and end rides in the low 70s. This piece of kit, with appropriate layering is perfect. Well ventilated and warm all in the right places. Has already in a week’s time become my go to jacket. It’s also very pleasing to the eye.

good windblock
I had high expectations as I already have the brevet long sleeve jersey, which I absolutely love. The windblock version is a bit tighter at the shoulders, feels a bit too much like plastic at the arms on climbs and has astonishingly little material at the back. What I absolutely like is that it also keeps my neck warm because the windblock material goes all the way up.

Great Wind Stoper
The place where I live has no quite code winter, so a versatile wind jersey is what I want which can stop the wind and at the same time keep my body warn. This jersey is really what I want, and the feature that it could be able to dry overnight is another factor why I choose this, and it proved working.

Compact, windproof and surprisingly warm
I bought this product for the transition phase between winter to spring in Switzerland. Temperatures are 5-7deg C in the morning but can go up to 20+ by late afternoon. This windblock jacket is perfect for this as the outer layer in dry weather. Bring along a rain shell and you're all set! I was surprised by the warmth compared to other jerseys I've had in the past. Really a top product!

If it gets warm, can you ride with sleeves of this jersey pushed up to elbows?

Hi, I usually wear Large for all Rapha jerseys. Is this jersey will be ok in M size to not feel bulky?
If you went for a Medium, this would in all likelihood be a bit small if you normally wear a Large

I am assuming the Winter version is thicker, but how does the the Brevet Windblock Jersey differ from the Winter Windblock Jersey?
Hi, that is correct, The Winter Windblock Jersey is thicker all around. The Brevet Windblock Jersey has great Windblock coverage at the front of the torso and arms and a nice lightweight merino fabric on the back for higher breathability and quick drying.

What type of merino is used in this jersey? Is it just as thick/warm as the Classic Jersey II long sleeve?
Hi, the merino used on this jersey is a new quick-drying, lightweight merino fabric. It offers comfort in the heat and allows for best heat exertion whilst the windbreaker panels keep you protected from the elements.This is not the same material fiber structure as the Classic Jersey II.

would I need to wear the insulated brevet gilet with this in winter
This Jersey would replicate the wind resistant features of the Gilet. However, when colder, the Insulated Gilet adds an extra layer of insulation and heat retention

How does this size. I wear extra large in the classic but could also wear large. Extra large runs big.
The Brevet and Classic range share a very similar sizing, so either size would be suitable depending on your preference

I’m 165 cm height and my chest is 90 cm, which size do you recommend xs or s ?
as we are all different in shape and preference of fit regardless of our weight and height, we do ask you to please refer to the size guide as far as possible. With the information you have provided, we would suggest you try a XS. Should you need to exchange, we have a 90 days return period for new/unused and with tags garments.

Hi Does this jersey offer any water repellency?
This Merino Jersey does not feature a DWR treatment, but Merino does manage external moisture better than artificial fibres
