Spot on!
Great quality, you know these pants will last. They stretch well so you don’t feel them when riding. Good pocket placement for phone/ snack bar, and solid waist adjustment clip. Am 173cm 72kg bought medium.. spot on.

Great pants
Great pants, up there with the Specialized Demo Pros. Pedal well, look good. Pockets on the sides of the legs are great for a phone and even have a little sleeve in the pocket for the phone, but it works without putting the phone in the sleeve. I like that there are also normal hand pockets. Fit large knee pads fine. Only very minor gripe is that with the light green color, sweat marks show up on hotter rides, but it doesn't really matter. Fit true to size. Wear a 31-30 jean with muscular legs and the Medium fits perfectly.

Comfortable, very practicle, stylish.
Nice and comfortable, true to size, pockets work nicely for my phone too.
These are my 1st pair of trail pants after many years of shorts (with leg warmers in winter) and even though I've only had 4 or 5 rides using them, I forget I'm wearing long pants.
They work quite nicely in temps from 5-18C so far - I haven't noticed the temp.
I used them to commute a few times too, and although they could be tigher on the drive-side to be sure of no contact with the chainring, they are actually pretty good and still clean.

Nice pants - some improvement needed
Nice well made pants, but I think a few things need improvement. The material is already showing signs of wear on the seat of the pants after only 4 rides, the fly zip is too short and the phone pocket on the side is quite small and fiddly to use. Also it would be good if the front pockets had zips. On the positive side the pants are very comfortable, the DWR keeps the rain out and the waist adjusters work very well. Size wise I am 175cm, 30 in waist and S fits well.

Fit and Forget!
The best review for an item of cycling kit is it just does its job and you forget its there. These trousers do exactly that. They fit, they work and they are brilliant. Cut is spot on, material is durable and they keep the elements out. They have transformed my winter mountain biking.

Good pants on the smallish side
Very nice made pants with a lot of details, pockets are perfect for all important things on the ride. Side pockets are big enough for 6.5" phone. Material seems durable. Downside of the product is that the legs are very short. I have size XL for which Rapha size guide says 38" in waist, but in the real world is more like 36" waist and 32" legs. I would appreciate longer legs for the winter rides.

Terrible support
Great trousers, I love them. I just can’t get any support from Rapha. I bought the wrong size and I want to return them. One part of the website says if had 30 days to do so. But the automated return form says I had to return them by Jan 8th ( less than 30 days for me). I’ve been trying to email, webchat and call them all month but I cannot contact them. The only response so far has been an automated email telling me to call them, but there’s no one there when I call. Maybe this review will trigger a response. Please guys, help me return these pants

Nice pants, waist true to size, but too baggy
Nice pants, pretty good fit and finish. Im a 33 waist with a 33ish inseam and the large fit true to size. I wish they were a bit slimmer though, baggier than i expected. Considering having having the calf area tailored so if you can get them on sale, they are nice pants. I really love the lay flat pocket best implementation ive tried. Finally, the repair patches are so awesome to have. The fabric caught on my bike and it was super easy to repair with a color matched patch.

Hard to beat these pants!
Hard to beat these pants for every day trail riding. The included patches along with free repairs give some great peace of mind. The pockets all seem to be well thought out and the functionality is pretty darn good. My only feedback would be the seat gets worn out pretty quickly (for me at least).

Top pants
First pair ever of MTB pants and they have revolutionised cold weather riding for me. Used to go bear legs or warm leg warmers. Nice slim fit and loads of pockets. Also bought the light and fast version which are slightly slimmer and a tighter fit.

Great pants
Great trail pants. I'm 6'0" and 84kg and bought the size medium according to their size chart. Seems to fit spot on with a close cut. I'm would consider myself in between medium and large.
These pants seem 100% windproof, durable and have some degree of water resistance. I pair these up with some thermal bibs for winter fat biking, and wear normal padded shorts underneath for autumn riding.
The quality seems very good and these pants have seen everything from snow to mud and have held up on some tough rides. The style is nice, I also like the added material at the wear areas on the inner ankles and shins.
The 2 outside thigh zipper pockets are convenient for my phone and other small items such as a tire gauge or tool. The hip pockets are nice and deep also. I recommend these pants!

Good for MTB and a randonee trouser replacement
I used to like the randonee trousers for casual riding when I didn’t want to change after, the tight lower leg made them really suitable for this. Since these were replaced by the technical trousers with a much wider leg I feel like rapha hasn’t had a good option for this sort of use- imo the technical trouser isn’t very good for cycling. The trail pants fix this, while they’re arguably less ‘smart’ they are acceptable for my use and are much better riding trousers. The side pockets are great at hiding the bulk of a large phone and they’re really comfy. I’ve used them for mtb and they surprised me by fitting my large fox knee pads underneath, again this worked great. Minor complaints, I don’t like the white Rapha branding- I’d prefer something more low key, the adjustable waist band feels cheap and I worry it’ll break.

Good fit for butt/ hips/ knees, a little short.
Super high quality riding pant for pedaling and descending. Inseam is a little short for my size large pant. Im generally a 32 x 34 in jeans, and bought a large of these. Hips/ waist/ knee pads all fit great, but I wish they were an inch longer. Pretty warm for riding above 65 degrees for me.

Great pants
I used the pants for around 10 rides and like them very very much. Build quality and design/cut is very nice, they look great. Furthermore the pockets are very well thought out - it is clear they were designed with riding in mind. Material seems robust enough and in line with robust nylon outdoor clothing. I had a crash on rocks and it didn‘t even scratch. I would highly recommend the product, especially since the price isn‘t much higher than other mtb brands.

Best Trail MTB pants I have tried
From different brands I have tried….around 5….this pants are the most comfortable. Great waist adjustment, great pockets distribution (Fit a big iPhone and you forget is there while riding), room for knee pads and great style. Give them a try if you are looking for MTB pants….

Best Pants Ever!
These are amazing pants. They feel so comfortable, the material feels soft and very high quality. I've had 4 mountain bike rides and absolutely love these. They have actually been on the warm side at even 8 degrees. At first it seemed the legs should be tapered more but I've had zero issues or contact between the pants and the chain. Love the fact there is no velcro (because velcro destroys everything else in the laundry). Highly recommend these.

Comfortable and stylish
Very happy with the feel and comfort. Perform great on the bike. However, they started showing whitening/thinning of the fabric on the seating area after 4-5 rides. Hope it stays a cosmetic issue, and does not wear through. Would otherwise have been 5 stars.

Tough with a great on-bike fit
Excellent for MTBing, dog walking and general outside wear. The cut is slim but with enough room to fit knee pads underneath and the tapered legs mean the RH leg remains chain lube free. The rear of the trouser is cut high which is a great design and the front lower. I’m 172cm and 69kg and size small is perfect. The fabric seems very tough and should survive the rigours of MTB riding. I’m very impressed and will get another pair.

Fantastic pant for cooler temps
To put it simply - I love these pants. The fit is great for me, 6’3 190 with a 32ish waist, got a medium and it’s perfect. Length is great. Material seems super tough and not noisy, also does a great job shedding moisture. Definitely for cooler temps. Side zip pocket holds my big phone and you barely know it’s there while riding. If I had to add one thing I would line the side zip pockets with mesh so you could use em as a vent.

Excellent quality and fit
Excellent quality and fit. I’ve used these in our local NC trails and found them to be quite resilient and technologically capable. Perfect enough to wear during cooler/cold days <50 deg F

Great pants when you find your size.
I usually wear size L, but, L and XL were too tight ( My waist is 38). The XXL are great. These pants are well-made, comfortable, and stylish with extra layers where appropriate.

Good
I run these as my winter pants, I had a different pair but I drank too much beer this last year and my waist grew. Now I can work on slimming down with pants, THESE pants.

Extremely well made
They fit well, thicker material and more rugged than the lightweight version. I like em because the wind doesn’t come through the pant.

Brilliant riding trousers
The first pair of MTB trousers I have bought (of any brand) and I couldn't be happier with these. As is always the case I find with Rapha photos really don't do the article any justice at all - there are so many well thought out details. The waste adjusters can be altered wearing gloves, are unobtrusive when riding, sinch the waste in very well to fit perfectly. The upper leg side pockets on both sides work a treat a phone fits well (iPhone XR for reference) and does not move around at all when riding hard so you really don't notice its there. The DWR finish does seem to work well, although at the end of a very wet (no rear mudguard day) I did have a slightly damp backside. The what looks like popper close at the front is in fact a sliding button - an excellent detail choice as it certainly will not ever pop open (like my old worn Sugoi baggy shorts do). After a single wear (an all day riding at a Bike Park) I am very happy with them. Time will tell on the DWR treatment. The only thing I would change at this stage is I feel the material at the ankle could be more tapered as the elastic detail has no effect at all on the fit, or a way of adjusting the fit yourself via 'velcro' would be good.

Great trail pants.
Great trail pants, but there are a few niggles for me. First the zip fly could be slightly longer, having to take a leak in a hurry, (yes I am old) . The ankle width, on the chain ring side, could have a fastener so as not to touch the chain ring when pedalling, had to tuck into my sock, not a good look! Liked the details, double knee, waist adjustment and the quality materials.

Great trail pant for cooler temps
I have both these and the Lightweight trail pants. Obviously these are heavier fabric but they are still very comfortable and have some stretch. The waist closure on these have a metal clip which I like better than the plastic snaps on the lightweight version (the snaps sometimes pop open). Both have well designed webbing adjustments on the side of the waist for a dialed in fit.

Hit them trails in style....
First pair of trail pants owned and I love them.. Super comfy, plenty of pockets for your usual stuff, food, gloves etc. Found them to be quite waterproof aswell when caught in a sudden downpour and quite warm, wearing them well into December.. So would highly recommend, will be buying another colour this month..
