First time buyer, plan to get more in the future
The Core bibs are true to size per the charts. They offer a good compression fit without being restricting. The straps are very comfortable, soft fabric and wide cut do not dig into my shoulders. I like the wide cuff on the leg, it holds in place without pulling or constricting. Finally, the pad has great cushioning without feeling like you're wearing a diaper, very ergonomic. I bought two pair and plan to get more in the future when there is another sale.

Poor quality construction
Poor quality stitching on chamois after 20 rides. I truly wanted these bibs to work out but unfortunately, the quality is not as described. These are not 'everyday' bibs if the stitching holding the chamois comes undone after less than 20 rides. This is one of the most basic components to a bib short. I was hoping that the Rapha Core line would become my 'go-to' kit, but the basic quality is not there. You can find better quality at this price-point elsewhere.

A tad long, grippers a bit too grippy
As others have said, these shorts are a bit too long. That being said, with a few deep knee bends and some shimmying, I can get them right where I want them. The leg grippers work great during a ride, but you have to fold them out of the way when putting the shorts on or else the shorts will basically stick to your kneecaps. The chamois is identical to my more expensive pair of Classic II's and is the best chamois I've ever worn. I'd give them a 4.5/5

Look the part, functional. Bit over priced.
Good bit over priced.
Definitely form over function.
I’m a 32” waist in most jeans. 5’8/174cms tall. 80kgs.
These fit very well. Length is perfect for me. They sit approximately 3 inches above my knee.
Quality:
The single density pad is ok. No complaints. However, compared to a dual density you notice the reduction in comfort. I use these for everyday training up to two hours. Anything longer, I wear the Pro Teams or my Castellis with dual density.

Core Shorts. Great value!
I have many items by Rapha. In fact virtually all I ride in is Rapha. You cannot beat quality and I also find that they last. A long time! I wanted to buy a new pair of shorts as I was riding more and more and thought, 'why not?' You will not be disappointed with them as I find it hard to distinguish between my top end shorts and these. Excellent on long rides as the pad is very comfortable. I bought navy blue. I think a pair of black will be soon.....

Great bib short!
I’m kinda new to the sport of cycling. Got serious this summer. I heard Rapha was to expensive. But the Core line is compatible. So I bought Core Bib shorts and a Core Jersey. Gotta hat too. I rode them on a 65 mile ride. (September 4) Gotta lotta complaints and had no issues. Comfortable all day. Great lookin too! I’m 57, 5’9” 175# 32x30 bought size large shorts and jersey. I’m muscular built with a little belly. XL Jersey is a nice fit. Large is a little tight, but I like that look.
Today I received in the mail (Sunday) Core winter tights (XLG) they are a little big...a LS Core jersey.
I decided to buy a large and extra large core jersey, return shipping is free. The extra large the sleeves are too long. But the large is a perfect fit. Got to get the belly a little smaller :-) Hope this helps!
If you’re thinkin about it, buy them!

Excellent Bib Shorts
Great feel and fit, excellent pad. They feel like a more expensive item. I also have the pro team 2 bibs, which are better for sure, but not twice the price better, not nearly. Highly recommend. My only issue is a personal one, my legs are on the short side and the pro team comes in 2 different leg length. These core bibs are perfect when on the bike but can feel a little long otherwise. Size Large. I am 182cm, 94kg and of the fuller figure.

Good basic bib short
I wear Assos gear exclusively except for these shorts. For the price they are a good pair of basic bib shorts. Are they as good as high-end Assos RS bib shorts? Probably not but they also are half the price of those. These are comparable to the low-end Assos GT bib shorts and slightly cheaper. If you burn through bib shorts (like I do) and hate spending $200+ to replace them, then these are a good substitute for more expensive shorts.

Great Fit
So far because of the weather I have only tried them on. I got mediums first and they were just too tight stepped up to the large and they are perfect. I am 6’ 1” and 182 with a 35” inseam and these hit on my legs perfectly. I hate shorts that the length on me are too short and I prefer these to be longer and they are. First bibs I have found for a fee years that fit in the length. I have long femurs so this is why I prefer a longer cut.

Wish i discovered this bibshorts years ago!
Wore an Italian brand for years, always found them a bit small and narrow in 'certain places'. Now i have discovered the Rapha bibshort and it really enhances my rides. Great fabric, good leg grippers, higher waist, which gives me less chafing. And the chamois pad... wow! Tested it the first ride on a 100+km ride and had no soreness whatsoever! The compression that comes with the pants is great help and support for your muscles as well.

Great bibs for the price
It’s been awhile since I bought new Rapha bibs and did some research plus talked with a few cycling friends before I bought these. As always, Rapha always delivers and the core bibs are greet for the money. Comfy and functional; I have read some don’t like the leg grippers but I find them comfortable, yes makes the shorts a little longer but still think practical. I’ve used indoor and outsider: I’ll definitely buy more.

Was a great product and could be again
This is my second pair after purchasing my last pair in 2017. They are indeed comfortable and true to size, but the quality of the 2021 Lycra compared to the 2017 is not the same. I would have preferred to pay more for the older material. I simply do not see the same longevity. The stitching is great, the straps are comfortable, the chamois is good, but the main body of the shorts is a let down. 2017 shorts were 5stars.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE WINTER BIBS
Bought these as I had a pair of the winter bib shorts and a pair of the winter long bib shorts which are excellent and fit exactly as I would hope. Got these in a medium same as my others, and they are a bit more of a sub fit, The biggest issue is that Chamois does not fit as well as the winter shorts and after a 50 mile ride they are tending to rub, causing some soreness. I have never has this issue with the winter shorts

Comfortable, but questionable quality
On my third pair in a year. First pair were replaced after stitching unravelled after a month. Pair two lasted a year before the same thing happened. Pair three have lasted just one month before showing similar signs of wear. I find the pad and fit very comfortable but at £110 I'd expect them to be more durable. Sent feedback to Rapha but have heard nothing back. A shame, but guess I will need to find an alternative brand.

Less pain on long rides
As an older rider I had been suffering increasing pain from uncomfortable rides. After 90 minutes or so this often became unbearable. I tried lots of different, and expensive, saddles, however what has made the most difference is these Core bib shorts from Rapha. Again I've tired several leading brands..but Rapha have come out tops and now 2-3 hrs is not a problem. I shall be buying some full tights soon for winter rides.

Not a good start but comfort has improved!!
First pair of Rapha bib shorts!!Good fit as per the guide, good length on the legs with the grippers being effective. First use was not great, found the chamois very uncomfortable. The shape at the front of the chamois did no agree with me. Got chafed for the first time ever. I am pleased to say that the second/third ride things have improved and are as comfortable as the big branded cheaper bib shorts I have used before

Raving About Rapha Bibs!
I had been recommended Rapha Bib Shorts by friends and finally bought a pair after finishing the Rapha Festive 500. I wish I had bought them earlier! By far the most comfortable and firm pad of all the Bib shorts I have owned and I won't be going back. Not only is the pad amazing, the compression in the legs is reassuringly positive and the braces feel snug and secure. The best bib shorts I have owned by a country mile!

Great so far!
I recently got back to a more consistent after a few years of on and off cycling. I was looking for some new gear and a buddy of mine turned me on to the brand. I went with these bibs based of his referral and they’ve been excellent! I am 5’ 7” tall and about 190lbs. Normal waist size in pants is 36” and my inseam is 29”. I went with the size large in the Core bib shorts and they fit really well! I love the width of the shoulder straps and also how wide they sit on the shoulders ( I have a boxy type build). I wash them in a garment bag and on a gentle cycle and hang dry them. All the logos are still in great shape and I haven’t seen any color fade (after about 10 washes). I’ve seen some reviews where people say the logos start to peel, but mine have been fine. So far they’ve been perfect and being from the San Francisco Bay, the Marin Headlands poem hits home for me!

Ok
The chamois has a clunky fit and bulges away from my body when not on the bike. But so far I have avoided chaffing, so I consider it a win. The legs are also a bit long for me. I am 6'0", 210 lbs and would consider myself stocky with a longer than average torso.

Really good, but grippers are over the top grippy
For the most part I like these bibs. They look good, are well made, and are comfortable. They are a winner at this price point.
But while I wanted to love them, I can't. I have a couple complaints, one of which is enough to make me hesitate about buying more pairs. The first: the leg grippers are way too grippy. It is really hard to put these on over bare legs, and almost impossible over knee warmers. I feel like the fabric or seams are going to rip at any moment. They fit well otherwise, so it isn't just a size issue.
Second, and this is minor, the straps feel quite heavy and wide. It makes the bibs feel very secure, but these certainly won't be the bibs I reach for on a hot day.
I was really hoping the Core would be my go-to bibs for my hour long commute, and I would buy more for my rotation. But they are just so hard to put on, and I don't know if I can get past that.

Not nearly up to Rapha standards
While these bibs fit and feel great out of the bag, they do not hold up.
The bibs stretch, and the side logo eventually starts to peel off. I bought four pairs of these, two of the pair stated to thin and pile in the back. While initially I almost needed help getting into the bibs, they eventually stretch past the point of comfort. The logo on the sides have all started peeling and flap in the wind.

Perfect pad, sewing loose already though
As with all Rapha bibs the pad is perfection, even in this cheaper version. The bib itself fits well and is a lovely blue. The only issue is on day one the overlock stitches came loose. I’ve found this on a few of the cheaper Rapha products, price and lower quality control I guess. CBA sending back so will live with it and fix when it gets worse. 5 stars for bib fit and comfort, 3 for quality. 4 overall.

Crease in pad, why?
Nice fit, good stretch to the material, although the crease down the middle of the pad is somewhat uncomfortable when not on the bike. Rides up the crack. On the bike it is mostly ok, especially after a wash or two, but I’d prefer no crease.
