So much better than expected
I was hesitant to spend the money, then my fav version of Peal Izumi's went out of production. First ride was 50 miles and I absolutely love these bibs. Fit is excellent, materials are super comfortable. Wore them on the next weekend's 135 mile and simply didn't notice them they were that good. Suddenly the cost is a non-factor, these are the bomb!

Smaller than expected but nice
The medium size feels smaller than I expected. Reading a lot of reviews about the sizing running large I decided to go with a medium but wish I went with the large. Despite the size the pad feels big and sometimes moves around too much. I do also wish the waste line was a bit higher too. otherwise a solid bib short that will serve me for many rides.

Quality Value-Level Bib Short
Good quality and value for a basic bib. Chamois is not designed (nor marketed) as a long-range endurance bib. I primarily use for sub-2hr training rides. As other reviewers have commented, would prefer if the front panel didn't come up so high over the stomach area as the panel doesn't breathe super well which is a consideration during hot sessions.

Buy them on sale!
I purchased the blue coloured bibs and already own the black version of these. So far, these fit much better than the previous pair. Not to say the black pair were bad, just seems like this production batch was much better. Let's see if the stitching holds up. All of my core products to date have had the stitching on the chamois slowly come undone.

So far so good
A decent deal for decent bibs. They fit well and have good compression but aren’t too tight. I’ve had prior versions of these standard bibs and they did not last as long as I had hoped. So I can’t say anything about longevity other than I hope these last longer. Two rides in and they’re holding up with no fraying or disintegration or the materials.

Core Bib Shorts New Favorite
Bib shorts are well-fitting and very comfortable. Shoulder straps sit flat and do not dig in and the elastic cuffs on the shorts stay in place but also do not dig into your thighs. Chamois is also comfortable and supple enough for long rides but not bulky. I find myself continually reaching for these shorts in place of other bibs and shorts I have.

My first Rapha bib 👍
I'm not ashamed to say that this is my first purchase of a Rapha product. And I feel my purchase was worth it. Quality is undeniable. Especially for buying this bib, after I used it for my first ride, I felt comfortable with enough padding and comfortable material when sitting on my bicycle saddle. I will buy Rapha products again in the future.

No sore bum
These are my first proper pair of bib shorts and can confirm they are very good. A friend of mine recommended them and he was right to. I thought the pad looked pretty basic when I first saw it but it's actually very effective and completed a 90 minute ride without a sore bum. I'm no warrior on the bike but I expect these will last me a long time.

Happy customer
High quality, comfortable and look great. Top marks. I wasn't sure if the Core range would live up to the quality I was after from a bib shorts initially. I usually stick to a couple of tried and trusted brands. But i'm very pleased with these after several months of wear they are going strong and one of my favourites. I would/will buy again.

Bib
Good line, nice fabric, nice fat white comfortable shoulder straps. Also great to have a different color than boring black on that price rage. Bottom area: Comfortable enough for me on rides under 60 miles but not good at all for long ones like centuries or double centuries. The pads are too soft and/or too thin defeating its overall purpose.

Deserve a spot in the bib rotation
Decent quality for the price. Slightly longer than other bibs. The band crimps a little in the back of the knee which isn’t great, but I don’t notice it after a few miles. I am 6ft tall and 162lbs and bought size medium. They felt slightly small on first fitting but feel perfect after riding in them a couple times. Great bibs for < 3hr rides.

Tough payment process. Fit is too tight
They payment process was a hassle. Tried both PayPal and creditcard but payment process was aborted at Rapha website afterwards. Switching from Apple to Microsoft worked but seems odd.
Fit of the bib should be perfect as I have the exact measurements. Unfortunately the fit is u comfortably tight. Would have preferred to buy a size larger.

Can’t knock these
I’ve tried many of the bib shorts in the Rapha range and I have to say I’m a fan of these over the others. For me, the strike the right balance of price, fit and look. They are really comfortable, the leg length is perfect for me as they are slightly longer than the Pro Team bibs in the same size, and the cost less than half the price.

The long journey
20 years ago I bought my first new Brooks B17 saddle. I'm now on my second leather saddle and I never have considered riding on anything else. Now that I have been riding in your MCBS for a month and a half I can, finally!! say the same thing about my shorts. Satisfied is not the word, I feel like a long journey is over. Thank you.

Love ‘em!
These are great Bon shorts! The fit is perfect and the fabric is the usual high quality I am learning to love from Rapha. The pad is great. I wore them on a Raid Pyrenean 5 day 100m a day route and they out performed other well known brands, in my opinion. The blue colour is, also, great :-) I’m 180cm and 78kg. Size large fit great.

Good shorts
First item of Rapha clothing i have bought, i was expecting a quality item. Despite it being part of the core range the bib shorts have a real quality feel about them. The bibs in size large felt a little short in the torso initially when i first put them in but were fine on the bike. I am 189cm and 80kgs. I will definitely buy again.

Stitching comes loose
I had Rapha replace a pair of these that had the stitching around the saddle wear away within a month. It's great they replaced them, but then it happened to my core winter bib tights too, so it's clearly a quality issue. Can't handle being sat on a saddle (yes, I had a professional bike fit) so I don't know how these were tested.

Core Bib Shorts
Good fit and good quality the material is not as fine and supple which makes them feel quite restrictive when first adorned. compared to the more expensive ranges. But I having ridden on multi day rides in the Alps I've found them comfortable with good padding in the important areas. Basic but functional, good quality and durable.

Amazing bib shorts
Awesome bib shorts! You can tell you’re getting a bib short of great quality before you even wear it. This was my first Rapha purchase and I don’t think I can go elsewhere for quality and performance. The padding and placement of it is amazing and the little details through out the garment make it comfortable and worth the price.

Take care with sizing, improved comfort after wash
Take care with sizing. I am 5'11", chest 90 cm, waist 79 cm, hips, 94 cm and weigh 63 kg. I went for Medium and the shorts just fit, although quite a tight fit. The pad was not very comfortable on the first ride, particularly around the front, although after the first wash they have softened and are now comfortable to ride in.

Core Range of Rapha - Not worth the cheaper price.
This was the first time I decided to buy from the core range of bibs. My bib gripper tore from the rest of the bib after 3 rides. I was then asked to cover shipping and international taxes for the item to be repaired. I have a cycling wardrobe of only Rapha clothing and will not fill it again with the brand into the future.

Dad Bod.
Im a big guy, so I was skeptic about these and anything rapha, with my luck the XXL jersey fit me and the XL bibs fit me. a little snug but they both felt wonderful on the bike. A little bit embarrassed when off the bike haha, but non the less amazing quality, look and functionality is at 100% and besides dad bods are in.

I’m surprised by the design and poor fit
Bibs just seem to be shorts with suspenders put on. They don’t have the usual mesh waist line on the front and sides that we’re accustomed seeing. You have to be nearly in perfect shape. Any little bit of love handles and they will show because nothing on the sides to push them in. Unflattering fit and I’m surprised.

Great bibs for rides of any length.
Very nice quality of stitching and materials, very thick pad (which is good in my opinion). The only complaint is how tight it is in the crotch area when standing up off the bike. When on the bike - all is fine and comfy. In terms of breathability, these might be a bit too worm for when it gets above 24C(75F and up).

Solid Bids.
Fits great. I have a large and the medium are more snug but not too tight. 5-10/170 lbs. Comfy no issues, quality is great. Nothing beats a good fitting and comfortable pair of bibs. Only worn them on a couple of rides but if they wear like my prior sets, they will be comfy on long/short rides. Solid bibs.

Comfortable and good lopking
Chamois works great for me although it could cover a little more. Materials are nice! In my opinion straps are not tight at all. (190cm/89kg and ordered size L). Stiches from the seam started to come loose after only couple of rides, but the reclamation was handled quickly and overall I’m happy with my purchase.

Great bibs but really odd pad….
First time I’ve bought bibs from the core range. Really odd pad though, it’s huge. It also seems way thicker than any other padding I’ve had before. Took a few rides to get used to it and I still think it’s positioned a little too far forward. But having said that I do like them and pretty good value for money.
