Great basic summer jersey.
The Core Lightweight Jersey version is a great summer addition of the regular mid-weight Core jersey. Fabric is more breathable with the same Core fit. It's missing the zippered valuables pocket, but that was probably required to cut weight. The downside, as is with all Core jerseys, is the zipper. On all my Core jerseys the zipper is very hard to get started and is not very smooth for on-the-bike adjustments. Also, some more sensible colorways would be great.

Close to greatness
I understand the Core line. I know it's not pro, I know it's for everyday riders in a variety of scenarios. Acknowledging this, I thought I'd take a chance on the Core Lightweight jersey to compliment the three other regular Core jersey's I own.
I dig the material. The fit is fine over the body and ventilation makes sense. I've never been too hot in this bad boi.
I do, however, find myself wanting a better cut around the sleeves. They're looser than the regular Core line, and a little bit shorter, too. Maybe this is a way to increase cooling, but I wouldn't have thought about that, it almost feels like a way to cut corners. I appreciate what Rapha is probably trying to do, which is offer cooling in the most economic ways possible, but I believe the sleeves could've stayed more in form with regular Core lineup, which again, are longer and tighter.

My first purchase of Rapha gear
Bought this lightweight jersey to use on hot summer days. This jersey has not disappointed as it has excellent sweat wicking characteristics and is currently my choice in my collection for the hotter weather. Looking forward to buying future Rapha gear. This was my first Rapha purchase online and I did have to return one jersey which did not fit but he Rapha support team was very responsive and my refund was prompt.

Horrible fit
The sizing of clothing is horrible. I bought the same size as other Rapha jerseys and these were way too small. After many previous exchanges to get the size right, then this. I’m done with RAPHA.

Great value for money - Great jersey
The core jerseys are of great quality; especially the lightweight jerseys are fantastic. I bought an additional one in this beautiful green color. I also have more expensive Rapha jerseys (that cost twice the price of a core jersey) and these are great too and some details are more fancy indeed. To me, It does not justify the price difference though...IE: Core jerseys offer great value for the just 70 euros.

Good jersey at this price
For the price this is a very good quality jersey. The sizing is good for me (6’4” and 17stone) and pockets have been capable of stashing all the required paraphernalia for a day long ride. A zipped pocket for valuables would be good and it’s a shame the chest logo is print not sewn, but as I say at the start good for the price. Cooler than a standard Core but the zip has been down for rides on hotter days

Excellent product and exceptional value
Leaving the pricepoint aside, this is a fantastic jersey--well made, well fitting (though the sleeves could be tighter), and elegantly styled. I wear this on hot, humid days in the mountains of southwest Virginia. These are the kind of day where my glasses fog up every time I ride through a valley. The jersey is perfectly breathable and comfortable i these conditions. At its MSRP this jersey cannot be beat

Great jersey, room for improvement on the design
Great quality fabrics, and all and all, great jersey for the price... but I really didn't like the collar, and the fact that the sleeves ara quite loose. The latter end up not having any effect while riding, but the collar becomes a nuisance because it's quite tall and flappy, and often times it rubs against de chin and the jaw. The way to fix it is to ride with the jersey zipper a bit undone at the top

Positive views on Core jersey
Bought large as expected and is a good fit when occasionally I’m only a medium because I want to wear cycling kit tight. (The Rapha size guide is accurate). Made from really comfortable material - no annoying seams or labels and the colour is a smart mid blue. The only (small) comment might be I would like to have the sleeve length a little linger like the pro’s wear, but it is the Core range.

Very happy Rapha customer.
I've just purchased my second Rapha Core short sleeve top. I was very happy with the first one in terms of fit and comfort. Hence the second purchase. I'm a medium build, 5' 8" and 81kg. When buying a polo shirt I'm a bog standard Medium (Euro sizes). Buying a Large sized Core top allows me to comfortably wear a thermal top underneath in colder weather. Absolutely fit for purpose.

Good, but not as good as Core
I have both Core and Core Lightweight jerseys, and Core Lightweight for whatever reasons feel a bit more loose than the Core jersey, for the same L size, which is the primary reason for giving it a 4 star instead of 5. The back of the jersey also is a bit longer compared to the Core jersey, so if you prefer a more aligned front and back sides, you'd be better off with the Core one.

Bad jersey, bad customer service
The jersey is not really better in hot weather compared to Rapha's classic merino jersey. The cut is too tight. The Rapha logo on the back is ugly and makes the jersey looking cheap.
Delivery service through DPD is very, very bad. Rapha's customer service is a disaster, Waiting since four weeks to get instructions how to send the jersey back. Multiple emails sent without any reply.

Serious performance qualities in hot conditions
I wasn't completely sure if I liked the jersey when it arrived, the material was different to what I was expecting. However, now that I have been using the jersey in the heat I can fully appreciate the performance of the material. The jersey has tremendous wicking qualities and dries super quick perfect for summer heat conditions. Also, importantly the jersey feel good to wear.

Very nice jersey for the price
I like the style of the jersey. The colors are nice, it fits well, and the materials feel high quality. It's a well put together jersey. There are no loose or bad stitches. It's light weight, breathes well, and dries quickly. The price is also fair. My only complaint is the collar is a bit high and makes my neck a bit warm and sweaty especially during hot weather rides.

Very versatile jersey for hotter weather
I'm 78kg, 179cm (about 5'10.5") tall, chest 109cm (42") and 86cm (34") waist. This puts me right in the middle of size L and size XL. I would say the L fits like a cycling jersey probably should fit, so it is snug but not too tight and no loose material at both shoulders and midriff. I bought both the XL and the L and ended up returning the L as I just wanted a little more room in the chest and shoulders and better access to pockets (I could easily wear the L as well though for a streamline fit). With my measurements, the size XL fits at the chest and shoulders but is roomy at the waist. The jersey is very accommodating in terms of stretch, so the size L waist is firm at the shoulders and chest and also fits better at the waist. For reference, I have a size L Brevet long sleeve jersey that fits perfectly with almost about the same amount of room (The L Brevet is a bit tighter in arms and shoulders than the XL Core). BTW the Brevet long sleeve is a good transition from the Core when the temps drop into the low teens and even down to 8-9C. I have used the Brevet with long thermal baselayer down to 5-6C with comfort (starting out with light gilet helps keep the cold wind at bay).
I have used the Lightweight Core from around 13C (55F) and up to 24C (75F). In hot dry weather the performance is good and keeps me cool as ventilation is good. In very humid weather it's performance is reduced by lack of evaporation, but compared to less ventilated jerseys will be comparatively better. I have ridden in the rain (caught out) and the jersey dried very quickly once the weather cleared. When riding at high output it stays out of the way, I haven't ever felt like I had to unzip it so far, I just forget I'm wearing it so that's a plus. When I rinse it out, it will be dry by the next morning (even in relatively high humidity) so is fast drying indoors as well. Odour resistance is also pretty ok, when worn multiple days in a row.
All in all it comes recommended for a very light jersey that helps deal with temperature management during hot weather and high output sessions. It is well made, soft, light and easy to wear and clean, and looks good. Will buy again.

Has Potential, but Flawed
I'm 5'9" 175lbs kinda between sizes, but went with Medium. I like the fit and quality of the fabric. Relatively speaking, the jersey is more comfortable than other brands which I find is more tighter fitting in medium size.
Where I find the flaw is in the zipper. The zipper seems to be of a lower tier quality so it doesn't catch easily... takes me a minute to zip up.

Perfect, Except for the Baggy Arms
This is a really nice jersey! The materials quality is really high for the price. I’m 6’1” and 36” chest and went for a medium for the extra length. My only complaints are, I wish it had a zippered pocket like the regular Core jersey, and the arms are too baggy. My regular Core jersey in the same size has arms that are quite a bit tighter. Overall, very pleased!

A near perfect piece of kit
Coming from the standard Core jersey, these fit nicely but breathe so much better. I’d say the standard Core jersey is almost a mid weight jersey offering from Rapha and the Lightweight version being perfect for Texas heat. These are all I will wear from May-September. Pockets are great and don’t sag. Material feels great and they aren’t super see through either.

A bit lightweight for year round cooler climates
Appears to be well-constructed but leaning towards flimsy in my opinion - understandable given it is designed as intended for warmer humid weather, but in my area, it may be too thin for the cooler beach weather rides. Live only 2 miles (3km) from the beach. That is the only reason I am returning it, as I have never purchased a lightweight jersey from Rapha.

Nice shirt, zipper could be improved
I am 179cm and 75kg. Size M fits pretty perfectly. I have been using mainly for indoor cycling due to it being winter, and it is excellent for that. The grippy material at the back seems a bit ineffective as the shirt does ride up at the back. The biggest issue however is the zipper. The zippers across the Core range are really hard to engage and close.

Great lightweight jersey
This jersey is fantastic. The color (light green) is great, especially in the direct sun. The fit is perfect. I’m 170cm tall, weight 73kg, athletic build. Ordered a size M. This is my first lightweight jersey from Rapha. It will not be my last. My latest ride had a temp of 31 deg, 95% humidity, very glad I had this jersey on instead of any of my other ones.

Great value and quite cool
Super value and breathes quite well. Excellent fit for my 6'1" height, 170 pounds and 39 inch chest - like they were tailored for me personally. The only downside is the sleeves are a bit short and tend to ride up, but not so high as to "gap" with arm warmers/sun sleeves. Nice stretch for on the bike comfort - don't really notice the jersey once riding.

Great for warmer days!
I have three core jereseys now, and the lightweight version is probably my favorite. I wear a small in the lightweight and a M in the regular Core jersey (I'm 6'11", 145lbs). The small is very snug and feels great. Because the regular Core jersey is thicker, I like it a little looser. The lightweight jersey is definitely cooler on those hot days. Love it!

Good for hot conditions, classic Rapha.
I'm very lean, 6'2", 68kg, 34" chest and small was an appropriate snug fit around the chest but was a bit looser on the arms which was a shame. I would have preferred a slightly paler pink, but there we are. It is very good in hot conditions but could be improved by a zip pocket for valuables. A good jersey, especially for the money, but not 5 star good.

Nice design but critical zipper issue
This jersey has a great design and performance which I love and felt it really had. But very unfortunately it has a critical problem with its zipper bottom stop. When I try to lift the slider from the bottom it is very hard like it is broken, which I never had one with Shimano jersey. Then I exchanged it with a new one but it still has the same problem.

Good quality / Bad fit
Quality of the product is great both in make and fabric (and looks of course!) but the fit is off, it is loose on both forearms and chest while arm length is very short. I had taken measurement prior to the purchase and bought my size according to site instructions and fell comfortable in the middle of my size range. Slightly disappointed by the fit.

Fits as described
Fit is as described and for me it was a large for waist of 34 in. Other parts were loose but expected for my body shape: I am skinny with a paunch.
Delivery was slightly earlier than they said but it does take several days to arrive with the cheapest option.
Material and stitching look fine but time will tell if the zipper or something breaks.

Warmer rides made better
Wasn't expecting to use this jersey so often. Even with the terrible spring we've been having so far in The Netherlands. For rides over 18 degrees, these is my go to jersey. Looking forward to warmer weather, trusting that the jersey can handle it. Personally I would have liked this jersey to have a lower cut collar as you find with the pro jerseys.
