Functional and flattering fit, and warm
Great fit - not too long, and not too tight in the thighs (important for a lot of women). I by no means have the low % body fat of a racer, but found there was no muffin topping. I line up the top of the warmers with the compression band on my shorts and they stay up no problem. Nice and warm as well, even for a light weight knit.

Warmers for Cold Knees
I wear knee warmers even though I have no knees, mine are cobalt chromium, but the soft tissue needs some protection in cool to cold weather. I needed another pair to add to the rotation and wanted something soft but warm. These work well. I have another brand that I wear for the coldest days, but for 50ish days, these are great.

Could be good, but top seam is too tight
Really bummed about these! I adore the leg warmers, and ordered them at the same time as these. But the top seam on the knee warmers is really tight, not like the top seam on the leg warmers which is stretchy and comfortable.
It's too bad because the rest of the warmers line is one of the best product collections in cycling.

Happy knees, happy cyclist.
These "leg" warmers did their job wonderfully. I'm 5'10" tall and these covered from the bottom of my shorts to almost my socks. I only had about 4" of lower leg exposed. They kept my legs nice a warm the times that i've used them. Maybe on the long side of knee warmers, but i was happy about that.

Perfect Weight Warmers
My comments apply to the knee and arm warmers equally. They are both excellent. I am in Southern California, so warmers are used only a small portion of the year, but I find these to be perfect when the conditions call for more clothes. They are comfortable, warm and high quality (as you would expect). Often with arm and knee warmers, I find myself stripping them off part way through a ride as they start to feel too hot, but these I keep in place for the duration of my rides--neither too hot nor too cold.

Merino knee warmers
I was very pleased with this purchase because I didn't want to go the full leg warmers and liked the idea of something in between. However, being vertically challenged, the length of the knee warmers is perfect for me because I do have the choice of wearing them shorter or actually as a full length leg warmer! I'm 5'2" or 158cm (approx) and wear a size 8-10 in skirts/pants and a medium in Rapha bibs. I ordered the small knee warmers. They are a perfect fit. They are surprisingly warm and very comfortable.

Nice look & quality but poor fitting
I bought the smallest size and they ride up after about 5mins on the bike. The bottom cuff around your calf is too big and has no form of gripper to keep it in place. The material is nice but they are just straight tubes - no ergo shape like other brands.

Keep your knees warm
Very comfortable knee warmers and the merino does a very good job of regulating the temperature. Have only used since mid March so not in the coldest condition but pretty happy with them.

A absolute must
The merino knee warmers is a absolute must have garment. Keeps you warm on chilly mornings and does not get to warm later in The day.

Excellent day and night knee warmers
Bought for a 2500 mile race and just as good as a sunscreen in the desert as they are as leg warmers at night.

Can't go wrong with Merino
As with anything Rapha makes, the quality is superb. I've owned the Rapha Marino Arm Warmers for a number of years and absolutely love them. They're perfect for those days when you're not quite sure what the temperature is going to be. The cut is perfect so they fit nicely with out bunching or sagging. The silicone band ensures that the knee warmed stay in place. We know how much it sucks to have to pull up our knee warmers because they don't stay in place.

Perfect Light Layer
I tried some traditional fleece lined knee warmers, but they quickly get hit and clammy. These Ralph's Merino knee warmers are the perfect light layer that keep my old man knees warm in the morning, and allow them to breathe and not overheat in the afternoon. The grippers stay out, and once I've put these on, I forget about them until I'm done riding and taking them off. Really comfortable and breathable. Just what I was looking for.

A real essential piece that doesn't disappoint
This is one of my favorite rapha essential. I use it often during chilly morning rides and commutes. It won't keep the rain out or stop the wind, but it will keep your knees warm without being in the way or being uncomfortable. It breaths just as well like the merino base layers and stays in place. Now I consider to buy the longer leg warmer version. It's clearly the most comfortable knee warmer I own.

Great weight for colder So Cal days, but run big
I love the weight, material and quality of these leg warmers. They are perfect for those mornings you aren't quite sure if it will be cold enough to wear fleece leg warmers. They keep you warm, but not too hot if the sun comes out. My only gripe is that I wish they came in one size smaller, I wear an XXS in Rapha women's bibs and these are a bit baggy on me. I'm going to have to get them tailored.

Just perfect for chilly days
I have been in love with my merino leg warmers for the past year bug they are a bit overkill n some days. The knee warmers fit the bill for me in the 45-60 degree range. Unlike synthetic knee warmers, he Rapha version never causes you to sweat, the never fall down, and never feel bunched up under the knee. But perhaps their best feature is his small they fold up if you take them off mid-ride.

Knee and leg warmers combined!
Used for a 5hr ride with various temperatures an some rain and these kept me comfortable all the time. I’m 173cm and use size small in shorts. However bought these in M, which I don’t regret. If I pull them up they work as knee warmers but if I put the just above the leg grippers of the bibs, they cover most of the leg. Gripper still tight enough to keep them in place.

Better than I could imagine
6ft/70kg/30"waist/37'chest
I have always hated knee or 3/4 length garments just could never get on with them. I ordered the knee/arm combo(read my arm review) but didn't really expect to like the knee warmers from past experience. How wrong-I love them you forget they're there and wouldn't heist to purchase again. Sizing is good refer to it.

Great material, but annoying gripper
Really nice fabric, works in a good range of temperatures. Feels like luxury. But the elastic under the gripper is too tight/rigid, so it really compresses my legs, leaving an unsightly bulge. I'm sure it could be a little wider and have more flexibility, since the silicon gripper is very grippy.(it pulls hairs out, so I know it works!!)

So nice and warm!
These are surprisingly warm! When I first got them I felt the fabric and was like "Uh ... really?!" but I've worn them twice now in sub 10 degrees weather and they are amazing! So comfy! Here's hoping the fabric holds! I have the merino base layer (short and long sleeve) and there is already a hole in the short sleev after a year's use :(

Best knee warmers you can get
I have been using leg warmers based on lycra. I actually never like the feeling and compression with lycra. But, with the merino warmers, I'm very impressed with how light material is but how much warmness it offers. With the first look, I was a bit skeptical if it will block cold wind but it proves I was wrong.

The best leg warmers I've come across.
Merino leg warmers are a game changer... these are genuinely my favourite Rapha product. When you do a lot of volume, comfort is key... consecutive long days in the saddle lead to all kinds of chafing and sores. :\
Typically leg warmers chafe the back of my knees and round the band at the top, take the shadow leg warmers for example, they are stiff because of the waterproofing fabric, this stiffness wore a large hole in the back of my knees during consecutive long days, however during one day rides the waterproofing properties contribute to comfort and outweigh the downside of chafing.
The merino leg warmers are soft, comfortable and don't chaff at all, they have a great warmth to weight ratio, the rubber grippers keep them firmly in place, without rubbing, they also look great - no ugly bunching around the knee.
I really wasn't joking when I said these are my favourite product, a great example of getting the seemingly insignificant, everyday essentials... RIGHT!

Huge fan of Merino and is no exception
These knee warmers are faultless: itch free, understated styling with an excellent fit. The silicone gripper does it's job well and if you take the time to put them on properly they stay put. Warm? Yes, very but not over-powering. I love Merino full stop and these are no exception, very happy with my purchase.

Perfect Fit, Wonderful Feel
I purchased these in the size recommended. When I saw them, I was sure they would not fit. However, they have a generous stretch and fit perfectly. The grippers hold them in place perfectly without pinching or binding and after 125 miles in the saddle, they were still exactly as I put them on.

Not just for Cyclists
I recently had total knee replacements of both of my knees. I love to cross country ski and snowshoe. These knee warmers are the perfect addition underneath my merino wool base layer to keep my knees happy while I’m out enjoying the wintery backcountry of Northern Utah.

Good comfort
Nice fit and the grippers do a good job of holding the warmers up ,they are comfortable and sized normal. There could be marked better as to indicate front and back for wearing purposes .it is over priced as you can get similar quality in other brands for less

Absolutely Essential piece of kit.
After 4 years wearing my last pair a recent crash saw me buying these again. Super light, warm, warm when wet, pack up tiny. Brilliant for from spring thru to early winter. Takes the sting out of fresh morning ride starts, then you forget they are on.

The Bees Knees
Super comfy and just the right warmth to weight ratio. I just finished a multi-day adventure ride and used these for hours and hours. They held up great and I could even give them a quick wash at the end of the day as they are fast drying.

Perfect for Spring/autumn
Felt I was missing kneewarmers in my cycling wardrobe - Was not dissapointed - They are light, breatheble and keeps my temperature regulated on grey/windy days (Denmark, 8~13 C). Same merino as the LS baselayer I feel, great stuff!.
